Yes the students seem to be few and far between these days and it will get worse in the next month or so as they go home for summer. But i have found a number of very nice 25-30 year olds around, perhaps more than in the past or maybe i just have noticed them more because of a lack of student types, but they do have better conversation etc. (yes i know - many of you just want to fuck 'em and not chat to 'em!)

I don't do anything special in terms of "vetting" but don't get that many scammers or time wasters!

24-32 is the magic age range! The young ones (<24) are still "all about me" and in princess mode, plus they are generally illiterate and the only thing they show any interest or knowledge in is TikTok.

Do you guys ever feel that the 8/9s on the site are bitchy and stuck up but the 6s and 7s are more friendly and respectful. Is it me or does everyone experience this?

More 8/9’s on the game maybe? If any an out of ten is off to me I’m not interested

Offline datwabbit

It's the friendly ones you've got to look out for. They're more likely to be scammers and timewasters
Sad to say but anyone I click with early on is usually a scammer.

Just tried it and cancelled fine. Jumped through the usual hoops and they offered a discount if I stayed a member but it let me do it ok. The site just seems so fucking flaky it might be worth trying it on a different browser. Worked for me ios and chrome

Had you got to the end of your membership? Or does it carry on until you get to the end. Also if you log on just to have a browse. Isn't there a chance it will re-activate your paid membership?

Im half way through. At some point during the process it confirms you’re only cancelling the auto renewal so you can still carry on messaging for the full period you paid for. But if you’re worried just wait til the day before your membership ends. Im not worried it will reinstate membership or take it away. Ive done this loads of times and its always been fine.  Again, if you’re worried just delete your membership when you’re done and create a new one

I cannot say because I just do not bother with the 8/9 girls - they know they are pretty and fit and will be able to charge accordingly.  Or have an issue or two that will make them a problem.

I would be the ideal wingman if we had to meet them in pairs  :)

Has anyone noticed that the latest batch of scammers all use photos where their face is obscured with their mobile phone? And they always seem to have a Recent location of outside of the country even if they say they are in the country?

I suspect that they use photos that can't easily be tracked through Pimeyes, hence the mobile phone over their face.

I just assumed that the US location was because they'd been on holiday and it was a coincidence.

Jeez - just sell me London Bridge.

There is some odd bug in Seeking that a bunch of UK people show as in the USA, I've seen that a lot but they are for sure in the UK. Seeking does appear to be quite buggy and don't even get me started on the weirdness in their Search function!

Yeah someone posted that on one of the threads. Ive just met a girl who it said she was in the US and she’d never been there (unrelated convo). As a matter of interest I also met one from spain who it turned out was in fact spanish and very real. I think certain countries (venezuela, phillipines, etc) are red flags but nothing is absolute. The worst that can happen is you waste a but of time before realising she is a scammer and moving on.

This is true.  But the US is the only location that it explains. Anyone that has a non-UK location that isn’t US is a red flag.

Obvs if you log in while on holiday it may show that.

Offline Kieslowski

I've come to the conclusion that the USA thing has to be some sort of default location that every profile starts out with until/unless something is done to reset it. Perhaps it's profiles where they only filled in the absolute bare minimum required fields to begin with to get a better idea of the site, and then filled in more later. Whatever it is, it's far too prevalent amongst genuine profiles for it to be a useful red flag.

The site is quite poorly designed and they don't bother fixing things. They've never fixed the bug that makes the About Me and Seeking sections turn blank on the Android app version if you update them with new text, for example, despite being made aware of it at least a year ago.

To cancel your auto-renewing subscription from the browser:
1. Navigate to your Settings page by clicking on your username in the top right corner and then choosing Settings from the drop-down menu that appears.
2. You will see the Membership and Billing option on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Click Cancel Membership. Here you can find the ability to cancel membership or pause a membership.
4. Follow the cancellation prompts.

Just want to say thank you again and confirm this does work and does not cancel your current subscription. You also get a chance to remove your credit card details. It immediately offered me 20% off renewal at the point I cancelled. I wonder what the circumstances are that they start to offer you more than 20%? Is it just a waiting game?

I've not had them increase the discount if not taken up at 20%.

Just had another go at trying to upgrade on seeking.com which failed so I bounced over to SB.  To me, it seems a better option with those verification videos giving a better idea of what you might be getting into and a clearer message that this is supposed to be an arrangement.  However, most posts from those of you experienced in such matters don't refer to SB.  Has your experience been that the people who run this site (same as seeking, I know) are the ones scamming us deluded punters?  Have you had any success on SB?

The Secret Benefits site is nothing to do with Seeking.

For everything you might conceivably want to know about SB – and probably rather more – see this thread:

I've found Seeking to be far better value. For one month's premium, you can request access to private galleries, send as many messages as you like to as many women as you like, and get read receipts so you know if they've read it. On SB, all of these things cost credits, so you can easily find yourself wasting lots of credits on fake profiles or time wasters who just don't bother responding. If you could just buy like £10 of credits, then it wouldn't be so bad, but the smallest amount is about $89, so you're as well just getting a month on Seeking and firing out as many messages as you can.

absolutely. Its not the amount of "activity" you can get for an amount of money, its the end result that is important. And IMO, seeking gives a much better end result.

The verification videos are only really useful in showing what the woman looks like without any filters applied. The site forces some women to upload a verification video to activate their profiles. Don't pay too much attention to the 'online' status either - the site cycles the profiles around to make it look busier than it is.  Right now there is a profile showing "online" and "in the UK", but I know for certain that individual is abroad and has been since the start of this week.

If you persevere and have the patience of a saint, you can get success on SB.

Offline James77x

For those of you that have photos on there - do you have a face pictures on your profile or send them face photos once you start speaking?

I'm assuming the likelihood of having success on there is with lots of photos but I don't really want my face being on there because of work etc.

Offline cunnyhunt

This question has been asked many times.
For me I had an undefined pic that couldn’t be used to identify me as profile shot and then would share a couple of head and body shots in private. It worked for me but others do not have pics and still have success.
Not used SA for some time as I still have a couple of SB that I see.

as cunnyhunt said, this has been asked and discussed many times on this and a number of regional boards and the answer is -  some guys do,  and some don't but have one in their private gallery and only give a lady access to it when they are happy with how the discussion is going and a few say they only do it on WA, and a few say they never do.

Exactly. A general truth is that whatever way you can think of doing it there will probably someone out there for whom it is working and someone for whom it failed miserably. Seeking is a person to person thing so it depends on “you” and what you are comfortable with. So the answer to the original question is try it out. Read the threads to get ideas and then try something you think might work for you. If it doesnt, tweak it. Continue til you get something that works. Ultimately its not that difficult.

@SCP this ended up sounding as if Im trying to tell you personally how to do seeking but hopefully you realise that this is not the intention as I know you have it well sorted ;-)

thanks and yes, i did appreciate your comment was building on my comment to help James77x.

My Seeking account is deactived atm as i have 2 good SB's - but FWIW, I have a body pic in public and a face pic in my private gallery but gave it to any lady that asked for it IF i thought she might be a possible future SB for me. But i am genuinely single and don't have the same need for discretion as many guys on Seeking.

Is it a red flag if the women doesn't ask to see your photos on WA. I don't show my face on SA.

Her messages are slow so I'm thinking she's a "not really interested but keeping me in a queue"

She's not showing signs of scamming or online only. Just meh.

The only time I’ve been asked to WA a photo was just before I’d arranged to meet a girl for a drink and she wanted a clue of who to look for. Even more surprising is she still turned up after seeing it  :D

Nope, only applies if she's a bonafide gold digger - for others, it might lure them into thinking so but moment a woman gets the ick about any guy no amount of money is ever gonna change your 0 rating henceforth

Deep down, all women, regardless of where you meet them would prefer a wealthy guy over a poorer one. Standard evolutionary biology. A zero with money is always going to get more poon than a zero without.

Exactly this, re my example above things soured in the blink of eye just because I made a throwaway comment about how regularly she visits her mate out of town after she started oversharing.

He has a deleted thread where he listed details of a punting Ponzi scheme where you recommend girls and they give you points. Something like that. Then he ended his post with some innocent "I can't believe they do that". It got pulled. Here he's telling you not to bother with SB's and stick to escorts because they are escorts anyway and cheaper too.

Recently got back onto SA to see how things are and if I could find a gem. I remember my first arrangement in 2020 I had an American student that was over here at uni. She only wanted £40 per meet!! And that was overnight as well. No such luck nowadays. I’ve even got below average girls that are 30+ asking for £300+ ppm. Trying to find that gem gets harder and harder.

Since when did those become mutually exclusive? If anything, it's usually the former which makes the latter.

i didn't say they were mutually exclusive!  Obviously i have a top budget, but within it, i personally don't regard "cheap" as being a particular plus point. But we all look for different things.

Still doesn't change the fact that if it turns out to be cheap then it becomes a plus point nonetheless.
