I'm not sure mate I just know what's been posted on EH. I think once they have changed their name to an AW acceptable one they get their profiles back but I could be wrong so don't quote me on it.

As an example CumforCarly in the NE had to change her name to Carlyxox they didn't like the 'Cum' bit.

When permanent, the profile images get deleted. They are of the format

Has anyone from AW explained their draconian rules like no pictures on beds, and no pictures focused on body parts, and no pictures which cause arousal, even if they are non-nude, since all pictures are hidden behind age-verification? Pictures like these are perfectly fine on public sites viewable to minors, so it makes no sense that age-verified adults are not allowed to see them. At the very least, if the pictures are non-nude, SPs should be able to include whatever pictures they want given that the site is restricted to adults. This is mutually beneficial for both punters and SPs since punters need to see enough to determine if they want to see the SP, and SPs obviously want to cause arousal. If AW fixes that, at least then the site will be fairly similar to how it was pre-OSA.

Take a look at the bigger picture mate. What, with wars, famine, etc. going on around the world,  having to sign in to AW seems somewhat trivial don't you think

The rules or guideance are still partway down the page and there are example profiles at the bottom of the page, but yes the example images seem to have disappeared. I never saw the bed rule, I got the impression the bed rule was something assumed by a member that was then passed around informally. I think it was more about the pose, focus of the photo, combined with inconsistent human and sometimes erroneous by AI moderation.

Has anyone got the the SMS to a mobile to work recently? First few weeks I've not needed a verified account so didn't bother, but I've been trying daily for about 4 days and it just says:

My son broke through his schools firewall and installed a VPN when he was 13, and he's by no means exceptional.

Of course how she didn't foresee the use of VPNs to bypass the age verification makes me wonder how she has that role?

The Government's position remains the same that it has no plans to regulate VPNs.

I wonder if the only way this could be tackled with, would to force this issue on to your internet provider.  So your internet provider asks for age verification, and how many person in the household have access to the internet, and how many under 18

Should be able to get round that by bypassing the ISP's  DNS servers, just needs a change in the router settings.
Or if you're stuck with Sky where you can't edit the DNS settings, just set the router to act as a hub only, and add another cheap computer (like a Raspberry Pi) to handle DNS/Firewall

It is related because people are adopting the use of VPNs to bypass the restrictions imposed as part of the Online Safety Act, which is why AW made the changes and now the government is raising concerns that children are using VPNs and want to restrict their use.  I am sure that all the websites raised these concerns during the consultation phase.

If a government official says "It's sunny today" or the "King is opening parliament on Tuesday", do you consider that to be political?  Personally, I don't.

To be fair, It is quite hard to (stick to the rules, that is) sometimes as any conversation that is possible to happen can (and often do) end up floating into the banned subjects 

I am not partaking in many subjects on this forum now, in fear it may be seen as political. It is best to avoid even daring to tilter on the edges of politics.
