AW big changes update: AW seems to be evolving and resolving issues as time progresses.
Currently, when I log out of AW, most pics, likes list, and phone numbers are viewable. There are still lots of non-nude NSFW pics that are viewable, but only as the small thumbnail (which can't be enlarged) when logged out. (But once logged in (and age-verified), I can enlarge the NSFW pic as normal. I think this is fair, because if you're age verified, you should be allowed to see NSFW pics. Hopefully AW decided non-nude NSFW pics should be allowed, because boring safe-for-work pics are not enticing to see SPs, and personally, I only pay for PGs after seeing SPs I like.)
While logged out, movie thumbnails are not viewable, which makes sense as they are often pornographic. Profile text, FAQs, and are also not viewable.
So overall, if you're age-verified and registered with AW, it works just fine. For punters who don't want to register or age-verify, I think AW is still usable but with some inconveniences.
VS seems relatively similar to AW. When logged out, VS is more liberal in allowing all text to be visible. Sexy pics are also viewable, but VS is more stringent, blurring out lots of pics that should be perfectly fine. But after logged in (and age-verified), nude pics are perfectly viewable. (Of course most of these are fake pics/BS, but that's another matter.) So overall, VS is still usable without registering, and after registering (and age-verifying) you can see nude (although likely fake/BS) pics for free.
In regards to other sites affected by the online safety act: I got skiddish about face-verifying on loads of various porn websites, so currently, the vast majority of internet porn is hidden behind this age-verification wall. I haven't registered for Reddit or X as these seem a lot riskier to be linked to. Sadly, this blocks the viewing of a lot of non-pornographic discussions.
