Even if you are in somewhere like Norway, you still have to do age verification which is odd. Doubt they get much traffic outside of the UK anyway which is probably why. Even if you are using a paid VPN, its not gonna make any difference either then

I found this to be the case too. I used Opera's VPN this afternoon to try to get around the age verification. It defaulted my search location to United States (where you cannot search for escorts), and when I changed it to UK I could search but the result images were all blurred and the text was missing like when I'm not using a VPN.

The SMS verification didn't work on my punting phone, I'm not planning on using their 3rd party provider (it's not a case of if there's an hack/data leak, just a case of when), and I don't like them using the situation to try to force people to buy credits. I bought credits 18 years ago so they know I'm over 18, but they just want to scam a bit more cash from everyone.

Ok so I tried other countries and it seems that some work whilst others do not.

I'm all up and running on AW now. Yes, it did take quite a lot of messing about and sometimes waiting and then going back to my phone to see if anything was happening.

1 - Searched internet for YOTI and downloaded the app onto my phone. Followed procedures in the app to download my driving licence, which of course shows your DOB.

2 - Downloaded the QR scanner app

3 Went into AW and logged on

4 - Go into "My details" and then "Age Verification"

5 - Press the "+" next to YOTI, then the "Go" box.

6 - This brings up the "How do you want to confirm your age?" page. Press "Continue" in the "Digital ID app" column. This brings up a QR code. Scan that using your downloaded QR scanner. AW and YOTI should then communicate to verify your DOB.

Hope this helps if anyone is struggling.

Apparently you can get verified by scanning your face and they can guess your age using facial recognition software so you don't need to show ID. Probably won't work for younger looking men though.

Apparently the blurred SFW photos is a technical issue which they are working on. This whole thing has been a bit if a shitshow really.  Luckily for me whilst I am on AW now it's more of a side hustle. So it's not really gonna bother me as I mostly work for agencies/parlours.

Not sure if it is a bug, but you can't review feedback on the old website but you can look at the SPs feedback on the new site. However, you can't view the feedback from the punters. Hoping it is just a bug for now, as SPs do use AW feedback to vet some punters, and we can use it as well to see if a SP is genuine or not.

On the Reddit subs they say you can verify your age with AdultWork by making an account then going to External Link/Members Only and you can verify by text from a mobile. You don't have to show YOTI your passport.

Sorry for the delay, flying into the UK.

To answer, yes I could see all profiles and pictures and nothing had changed. I'll test it again after the weekend, this time I'll be logging in from yet another country.

Now I am in the UK, and opened the site without logging in to find most profile pictures blurred although I didn't look round much, just clicked on one profile to see if the videos were blurred and found they were not shown.
Once I logged in, everything was visible.

Interestingly I run a Urban VPN sometimes. Using that Xhamster, YouPorn and Porn Hub loaded up with no issues, without they all want an age check. But AW still showed the blurred pictures, even when I tried it from different browsers in case the site was cached. Don't know why just AW does that, but as I'm a member I'm not bothered.

*It seems from other comments its blocking any searches for UK based providers no matter where you are "accessing" from. Strange how I could see everything okay this afternoon. I'll update Monday, as I really will be physically outside the UK.

Im.also getting this but if you are using the main site old version I can see feedback that im getting errors for by clicking on the profile and then the ratings tab, that way the feedback shows.
If I just click on the number in the brackets I get an eŕor page

Might depend which version you are using.

The old desktop site if you click on someones feedback number, instead of the feedback box opening like it used to, the tab you are using switches to the horrible new site and you can look at the feedback there. What you can't do is check the feedback of those who have left the feedback to gauge if the feedback is genuine or not.

It's been reported elsewhere that the feedback is working normally on the ios app.

... AW went through all this effort to get SPs to change their profiles but have seemingly decided last minute to stick it all behind a age verification wall with the photos still being neutered for some reason. 

It makes no sense. Since it's behind an age restriction wall, they should allow full nudity. But instead they've gone the other direction and made the public pictures totally boring.

AW states that:
1) All profile pictures have to be SFW
2) All Free Gallery pics have to be SFW
3) All NSFW pics have to be re-uploaded to Private Galleries

No nudity would be fine, but External Link/Members Only You can find sexier and more revealing pics on YouTube, TicTok, Twitter, Instagram, etc. I think AW is doing this on purpose so that users have to pay them for credits to view private galleries.

Functionally, if you can't see enough skin, you won't know if you even want to punt an SP. Maybe they have cellulite, or a shape you don't like. And paying for private galleries just to decide if you want or don't want to see an SP isn't feasible for most people. Especially with SP prices as high as they are.

My only hope is that if enough people cut down on punting, SPs will have to drop their prices back to 2019 levels.

Thanks for reply. Yes it would appear that VPN's set to access from certain countries rather than all of those outside of UK are managing to bypass this, but it would appear to be somewhat random?

What I've found myself doing when reading new reviews that pique my interest on here is cross reference them with older reviews to see if photos were uploaded here.

Of course, some WGs on AW and VS have pics that aren't blurred because the women are just in bikinis or fishnet dresses showing their assets.  I expect most WGs will pretty soon make those pics the first to be shown so they come up top on the index pages...

My profile and free gallery photos are still completely pixellated or blurred to non-age-verified viewers, I am led to believe this is due to a technical error with the AW compliance software solution initiated on Thursday. Other SPs are effected to varying degrees. I may be wrong but I do not envisage this being fixed overnight, or even in 24 hours but who knows. They did but their compliance software is flawed - my photos were vanilla and approved as such, but they have been blurred and remain so. I remain in suspense until they work out a fix.

The blurring of photos on profiles has been totally random, some vanilla, some explicit however my entire public gallery is blurred and I can assure you 99% were/are vanilla.

I'm seeing pictures that were totally SFW, like basically modelling/studio/outdoor pics with no suggestive or sexual poses and appropriately cothed being pixelated as well. It's like AW system is not following their own guidance.

All 3 main pictures on my friend's profile are pixelated even though it passed the AW checks in early July.


My opinion on this whole this is still the same. It's fucking silly, the whole thing. From how generalised the law is, how the verification options are not uniform i.e. some places you can just use an email while on other places you need ID/face scan. and how Adultwork a site for buying and selling sexual services can even try to bypass it in the first place despite having all the sexual terms in services list, descriptions etc.

I hope that this causes them huge issues, to a point that they have no choice but to repel it. But since the bill has passed and is now a law, it's gonna be a while before that happens.

Came across several SPs who don't have private galleries. You can still view all of their unpixelated pictures by clicking on the 'launch free gallery', most if not all of their pictures are as above. Which just adds to the confusion.

All works fine for me… either connected from UK and logged-in (I am age verified - AW credits from ages go), or via VPN not logged in.

The only rubbish thing that’s changed is that when checking SP feedback, it now redirects you to their beta mobile site which limits functionality i.e. you can’t click SS names to see their feedback and who has left it, and you have to be logged-in in order to see any feedback comments.  In short, the feedback mechanism has been lobotomised and now much less informative.

VPN set on Singapore works fine. I can see all the pics/texts with no issue.

I’m gonna give it a couple of days and decide how I move forward. VPN on my phone is a pain in the ass, since it fucks around my ad blocker. I would rather sign up with Yoti then look for work around. I can’t verify with my phone number because the only “safe” number I could use was used with a previous deleted profile. AW won’t let me reuse that number. AW nuked my last two accounts as I wasn’t logging in and I paid no mind to the warning emails.

Seems the age verification process is relatively painless, assuming you don't actually like the process due to trust/privacy concerns, etc. It is everything else that has fucked it up, i.e, the filters, feedback feature breaking down

This worked for me. Downloaded and signed up to Yoti yesterday. Did the selfie age check. Tried to see how it would work with AW. It wouldn’t.
Tried to prove id on Yoti with my drivers licence. It wouldn’t accept it.
Today logged in to Yoti. Went to AW and logged in. Went to age verification - Yoti option. Yoti opened up in my browser (duck duck go) within AW site. Selfie verification option - Google verification- accepted access to camera. Selfie. Verified.
Now nothing is blurred out.
