Personally for me it would be great if no one ever wanted to use AW again. Since I guess they would be more likely to go to the parlours and agencies that I work in.
Like I said before AW is not my main thing so it doesn't bother me. If anything hopefully we will get less timewasters and idiots contacting us but I doubt it.
If people want something enough they will figure out a way to get it. And most of the recent posts seem to back that up. I doesn't seem that hard. I might be difficult for people who are not good with technology.
Not to make too much a political point, this law seemingly was passed to protect children from porn content, but I don't see how that chimes with stopping professional escorts from posting simple text, as AW is blocking/restricting.
Also so many rumours online it is already being used to block things the government may not like, such as the immigration protests.
It's the thin end of the wedge, not to mention how long before hackers and criminals start targetting the verification sites and verification process for their own ends.
I'd say to everyone go ahead and verify if you don't mind that data being publicly available at some point, but understand that data is going to be hacked and will become available at some point. People think Yoti is quick and just provides tokens, but clearly it holds your personal data and a list of tokens to what your are verifying, so it will be a highly valued target to criminal hackers, etc. and a way to tie you to the sites you tokenise.
I mean, imagine you use YOTI to verify for work or a government service etc and then also AW, etc and that information is hacked. It doesn't even consider thinking about.
