I think that is the problem right there summed up perfectly.

Those people in the northeast will never understand how people from other regions don't like agencies.
And those people from outside the northeast will likely never understand how people from inside the northeast like them

The only North East punter I remember seeing say they dislike agencies was Durham Lad. The rest see their benefit and happily use them.

At the same time, I cannot remember ever seeing any non-north east punter on here say they like agencies. It just seems to be a north east thing that we like them. I honestly love them I think they are great. People from outside the NE probably think I am insane for thinking that way. James was therefore just saying what the masses from outside the NE think.

There are punters in the London area that use agencies and say they like doing so. But fortunately the London boards aren't dominated or got loads of threads and posts about them, however many many so called indies featured in reviews in London aren't indies at all and have pimps. As I said they pollute punting in my opinion.

It is of course up to a punter how he punts, I don't think you are insane for punting through an agency if that's what suits you. On UKP since its start and certainly from early-2011 when I joined pimps have always been disliked by some punters in my observations, over my time as a member I have come to intensely dislike them more and more. 1 pimp cunt trying to out me on Twitter which I am not on but a punter I know informed me of it helped harden my present view, they failed but it was a good lesson in never having any faith or  trust in these low lifes.

The discussion wasn't supposed to be about anyone's opinion of pimps, the point I am trying to get over to Anth is that just because someone is, or was, a longstanding member it doesn't mean they are good for the site and would benefit the site if they returned.

On the threads I quoted James blamed the girl not the pimps on one because that would get the biggest reaction, then on the other he blamed the pimps not the girl because that would get the biggest reaction there. That to me is trolling. I have asked Anth for his opinion but he just seems to want to deflect away from answering.

I see from the links you posted James is down as a guest now, i cant click on his posts, does guest mean banned? I ask as i have seen guest against the nicks of a number of posters i thought were banned. Or are they self banned.

If you don't log in for (I believe) a full year your account gets deleted. This means old banned members have turned into guests as they couldn't log in.

VW hasn't been on here for 18 months and I can't see where Bel has commented on NE agencies so I presume you are talking about other forums. If that is the case it has nothing to do with what goes on here, if you have an issue with people on any other forum you need to take it up on there and not bring it onto here.

Agencies are posting on the site by the way. The agency that said they would stop posting were upset that people called them out for working during lockdown and trying to blame the SPs. Instead of taking responsibility for their actions.

DM is right about you and the way you approach debate. It's why you have a hard on for some people. Some others are way more abusive and dismissive of you but that doesn't bother you.

That’s the problem with some of the interested threads on OT they just get derailed unfortunately..
I don’t mind people discussing the now banned subjects but I would have pulled up the people who continually derailed threads, rather than deleting them..
