Actually, some older-held profiles are more legit — as scammers and rinsers get reported and then (sometimes) banned by Seeking. It takes minimal effort to create a new profile — I bet some of them are men.

Don't forget a lot of bored girls with no intention of meeting will have created an account when the first lockdown happened (March 2020).

You are right to put out a reminder about the effect of covid, and that a lot of bored girls and online only types have joined since March. Which is why I put my SA searching on hold, particularly as we're in lockdown anyway.

However, when I go back, I am sure that I will have more chance of finding an arrangement, and certainly where there is a connection, with a girl who has recently joined SA and desperate for post-lockdown fun, rather than someone who has been on SA for 2-3 years. As I say, my experience is that most of them are either fairly pro in their approach or aren't serious about an arrangement, but obviously YMMW.

Yes - and I'm aware others have managed to do the same. If it's an escort you want to sleep with but never got around to booking, why not. You lose nothing by trying, if it turns into a bargain, great.

Ignore the fact you know they're on AW and open a conversation with them as you would with anyone. Some of them may end up effectively quoting you their usual hourly rates (though this has actually only happened to me once - see below*) in which case no need to bother with them. But a lot of them are flexible - though they may point out what they "usually get" during negotiations to try and boost the ppm (but still accepting you're going to pay less). Some, on the other hand, clearly want you to see them as a civvy - will lie about what they do for a living, tell you personal details, show interest in going for a meal etc.

*I got someone who advertises £300/ph to agree to dinner and "get to know each other after" (so sex not expressly agreed, but clearly possible) for free. I subsequently fucked it though!
