The fact is (as I see it), large parts of the Scottish board have been shit for a long time due to the overbearing influence of one miscreant that has now been banned. There are one or two other fluffies whose reviews I’ve learnt to ignore the hard way, but with the major domo of white-knighting banned it should be easier to keep the board cleaner and challenge any fluffy reviews on an
ad hoc basis.
I’d rather see any specific issues dealt with based on specific evidence rather than a general conflagration. Pilgrim as far as I know is, or near enough, a founder-member with a long track record in Scotland, and not a dodgy one. There are a couple of names that spring to mind on that board that are pretty useless cocksuckers but I’ve never thought of Pilgrim as one of them. I don’t recommend having the same name in all boards, I’m against it personally, but for very experienced punters (experienced in punting and experienced in cyber) it’s hardly a no-no if they know what they’re doing. Smiths and JRC I believe are examples.
Getting rid of the the Taz white Knight was long overdue. Congratulations to James who I think mostly led the charge, and also yourself VW for the hefty support. Both of you probably did more than I did. I suggest a small glass of wine might be in order to ‘celebrate’ and, although we all have to stay vigilant, the main objective has been secured and we should maybe at least have a small breather on this thread at least.
With thanks to all who contributed on this difficult task.

And a big thank you to Admin. Looking into these things from a viewpoint of fair moderation is often an exhausting task and we owe him our gratitude for the time he must have spent going into it before making his decision.
