Hi members,

I am from a U.K escorts agency and we are looking into ways to increase the safety of the escorting industry. Our plan is to implement a payment system within the website so that no cash is transferred in person. You simply book your date, the escort confirms they are available and then you pay by debit/credit card online, as simple as that.

This holds many advantages. For the escort, it removes the risk of time-wasters and also authenticates the clients legitimacy which can make for a more comfortable experience.

To conclude this solution would be of a massive benefit to escorts, the question is, would you guys be comfortable with it?

Not quite the same thing but I've made arrangements with a Webcam girl I got friendly with on a WebCam site  and she asked me to use to come off the site and go direct to her paying by Paypal and using Skype.  The WebCam site was taking a cool 50% of what I was paying so I basically got double the time for my money.   

I would never do it for a first time meet but I would definitely do a Paypal payment with a trusted regular, no question at all.  Much easier than carrying large wads of cash.  For me anyway.  I know many WG's wouldn't want cash going through their accounts and Paypal is just another bank account at the end of the day. HMRC will inevitably take an interest.  But then again WG's who make a reasonable income will have to declare a large chunk of it anyway - it's difficult to make any big purchases like a house or car with cash without having declared it as it will flag as suspicious for money laundering.

Its not just your money you would be sending him

All your card details including the cvc no, expeiry date, and account number

Your name and  address, and phone number, so he now has all the details to commit online fraud

She's taking a risk there.  PP is not to be used for such transactions.  I believe if they find out they close her down and keep the money.  Also, you have the ability to pull the cash back after a session as it is not transferred immediately.  Plus if the cam site find out, they would shut her down too.

I think she's now quit the cam site as she makes much more cash from her regulars that way, and she has various "legit" business stuff going through her PayPal account as well so probably not too difficult to hide it.
Did not know you could pull the cash back but at the end of the day she's only doing this with trusted regs so guess the risk is minimal.
As you say, certainly not risk-free, but at least it's hers not mine.   
For Webcamming it's different obviously - she is in the US and has customers all over the place so cash is not an option anyway.

I would not want to pay by card with all the details they would have, some agencies have and can take them but not many.

I could be wrong but I think if they did have that facility its usually because they have told the providers  that the business they are running is non adult/escort agency to get the facility over here.

I think but not 100% sure if they have lied about what the business is and the punter told the credit card company then its a form of fraud and the punter can get a refund of what he has paid.

There can be strict  rules on taking visa etc.

A punter could save himself each week until he has enough why would any punter hand over money weekly to them what is the point of it and how does it benefit the punter apart from the risk if something happened over night and they had to close he has lost the saved up money
