FCB, are you reporting all these fake profiles to AW?
If so, are you using an AW profile to do it?
They deleted my AW profile because they claimed I wasn't using it for seeking services, and only for reporting fake accounts which in their words "isn't in keeping with AW membership"
I eventually got my AW account reinstated (had it not been for good feedback from WGs I'd met, I wouldn't have bothered). But for AW to say that I wasn't using the account for "seeking services" when I clearly had loads of previous good feedback took the piss.
I then created a separate AW account, and purely used that one for reporting. AW would remove it after a couple of days, so I'd create another one, and so on. I've also been careful so as try and not to link it to my genuine AW account by using a separate web browser, and a different IP address.
However, AW recently put a block on me creating new AW accounts. I could still create one, but in less than 5 mins it would become disabled. They obviously have something automatic in place as I tried creating accounts at various times of the day and night. I haven't experimented with a different webs browser yet though. But deleting cookies before creating a new account wasn't enough to bypass their detection.
It's annoying that they won't implement this on the daily fake account creators, but then we know why, because it will affect their profits.
I now send any fake reports to them via email to
[email protected] from a disposable email address.
They get a bit shitty with me at times by saying not to report profiles that they've already flagged as "suspicious" as it just wastes time, but if you carefully word the email by saying "I know you've marked this already, but...…" then they seem much happier with it.
