What is annoying is if I report a profile to AW, they remove it, then within an hour, the scammer has uploaded another fake account, as well as using the same phone numbers again. In the case of the profile above that I mentioned, the reason she had five accounts on Monday or Tuesday, and three on Wednesday, is that I kept reporting the new fake accounts and linking the old ones to prove what they were continually doing.
All AW did was to remove the fake account each time I reported it.
Now from personal experience and experimentation, I know that AW can block someone from creating another account. Now either these scammers know how to get around that, or AW aren't implementing the same bit of technology on these repeat scam accounts that they did with me.
That aside, I must have pissed off whoever is creating the fake accounts. I worked out that they were responsible for at least four separate fake accounts and I managed to get AW to remove every one of them, which meant the scammer had to start all over again. I think what the scammer does though is to create several at a time then parks them until he/she needs them.
