How you manage to arrange a booking with an escort let alone 32 never ceases to amaze me.

Especially as some, quite a few, are clearly not what he'd call 'indigenous'.
I wonder if he tells them to fuck off where they came from before or after they put his cock in their mouth? ;)

Are you really that thick that you don't believe journo's travelled in WW1 and WW2 to war zones?

I would respond but  your post seems to be a non sequitur. Can't make out whether you're agrreing with me or countering.

If one accepts that the term anti semitism was coined in Germany  as meaning hatred of Jews then no, it would not necessarily be anti semitic

One cannot blame the poor bloody Muslim Palestinians in resisting but it's a sobering lesson from history that conquerors will always create resistors and will ruthlessly and usually successfully crush them. In our country one could cite Hereward the Wake after the Norman Conquest.

No world power exists that is powerful and willing enough to step in and resist by force the US-backed might of Israel. Regrettably therefore one can foresee the entire West Bank being formally ceded to Israel in the next decade or two.

At last a post that reflects the reality of this sad and perplexing situation.

The usual browbeaters will continue to protest and pontificate, without putting forward an alternative scenario.

Kegsbreath is a liability.
He's fired north of 20 Senior Generals. The majority of them either women or black.
It takes 20 years of experience to get to General rank in the US military.  That's about 400 years seniority and experience gone. If you can climb the ladder in what is still a highly racist and sexist country like America you didnt get there on DEI.  It also sets up a process and precedence that means those below don't trust their place in the hierarchy as it can be taken away with no due process  by a pissed up womaniser if he feels like it.  That kills the pipeline and morale.  So, as a so called 'War Fighter' he's not all that.

As far as Streeting, granted there are better candidates.  However, what his sexuality has to do with it I have no idea.  We all knew men and women who were gay but not out.  They didn't fight or train any less than the straight people I served with, in fact we buried a couple who paid the ultimate price.  No one cared about their sexuality as long as they did their jobs and that was at a time where it was illegal in the military.

Hegseth thinks women are lesser combatants too.  He clearly never met Jo Salter, Helen Seymour, Kirsty Murphy or Sasha Nash.  Jo was a few courses behind me and she was highly regarded.  She had to be to be the 1st, in fact she probably worked harder than her male counterparts to get streamed Fast Jet at all.  They all flew combat sorties in multiple war zones including Iraq and Afghanistan, and were all prepared to die for their country.  Sasha is currently Red 1.  Call it DEI if you want but no one gets their wings easy and nor should they, neither does anyone fly with, either in the same aircraft or same formation, anyone they don't trust with their lives.  Simple as that.

Pistol Pete also forgets that one of the F16 pilots scrambled to take down United 93 Heather Penney was a woman.  She and her squadron commander launched on unarmed jets and were planning to ram United 93 to avoid it getting to the Capitol Building, one taking the nose one taking the tail.  If that's not the ballsiest thing to do to protect your country then I have no idea what is.

So no, he's not a great choice and the only reason he is there is because he's willing to kiss Trumps ass.  Plenty US commentators believe he won't make it to the end of the term and he is hated by most of the top brass and worse for him Suzie Wiles, Trumps Chief of Staff because of his arrogance.  That and breaking the 1st Ammendment (Seperation of Church and State - he has introduced an Military Religious Affairs Offie that reports direct to him) and I'd say is tenure just shortened some.  So even politically he's a fucking chump.
Watch his exercise regime, he can't even do a decent push or pull up to standard FFS!

The book "Das Boot" was written by Lothar-Gunther Buchheim based on his experiences as a War Correspondent from Goebbels' Propaganda Ministry.

Wise words from both of you.

Many of us grew up in the afterglow of the Allies’ victory in the Second World War with the delusion that the good guys always win in the end – although even that was a pretty mixed result, since the war had resulted in more of Europe being under the sway of the USSR than had ever been part of the Third Reich.

Either way, we seem to be moving into an era where it looks worryingly likely that some very bad guys may end up winning.

One of the most savage ironies of the past hundred years is the way that the Jewish people – exposed in the 1930s and 1940s to one of the most appalling atrocities in human history – started behaving with such utter ruthlessness and disregard for human life once they had the whip-hand.

As often, these lines by the poet W. B. Years – although the context is different – have much resonance here, mutatis mutandis:
"Hurrah for revolution and more cannon-shot!
A beggar upon horseback lashes a beggar on foot.
Hurrah for revolution and cannon come again!
The beggars have changed places, but the lash goes on."

Unfortunately I think that is generally how many humans and groups operate, they may start out oppressed and discriminated against and call for equality which takes decades or even centuries to obtain as change often happens so slowly
However once they do obtain changes and concessions to indeed give them equality their group still has the mentality of being the oppressed people and their mindset is one of still being on a war / fighting for equality footing so they continue to go on the attack and push for more
The reality is that some within these groups don't actually want equality they actually want a reversal of roles, as you say once they are in a position of having "The whip hand" that power can become intoxicating, I mean who wouldn't want to be top of the pile  :unknown:

I do think it's both sad and wrong when the oppressed end up becoming the oppressors yet as soon as their push for more power and control is questioned they happily roll out the victim card again to hide behind

Absolutely agree.
In Bosnia it happened exactly that way.

Bosniaks and Croats would have the upper hand one day so the Serbs would get protection and evacuation.
As soon as the Serbs had settled, regathered themselves and regrouped they would go and attack those same Bosniaks and Croats and so the cycle would repeat once the Bosniak/Croats had been secured , evacuated and regrouped.
Its the nature of mankind I think and frankly until you get to a point of everyone dies if one side starts (think Cold War) then there is never true peace. It repeats ad infinitum and it happened in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan.  Western democracies who then try to implement their version of democracy when these countries havent even passed through the natural process of Feudalism through absolute monarchies to emerging merchant classes and aristocracies and eventually into assemblies And into parliamentary states just doesnt work.  You nee to go through the growing pains to get to what has been relative stability through that long drawn out bloody process.
Its sad but I dont see a 2 State Solution when both states hate each other so much and there is so much bad blood spilt.  Only a true standoff between equals would start anything likle that and there is no way the Palestinians will ever have the stability to become equals to Isreali force.
It doesnt help that the UAE, Arab States, Egypt and surrounding other states have mixed and often flexible agreements and play each side off against each other in their own state interests.

It certainly doesn't help when the CIA are in there arming rebels, funding dissident groups and imposing puppet regimes.
But of course we'll forget about that because then the 'civilised ' West would have to look in the mirror.

So the Jewish people started behaving badly in the 1940s ?
I reckon that statement is way more antisemitic than anything I've ever heard come out of the Green Party.
ALL the Jewish people?
You do know conflating the Jewish people with the nation state of Israel breeds antisemitism, right?

I listened today to a long interview with Shabana Mahmood (Home Secretary) on The Rest is Politics Leading.  For those interested in faith in politics, issues around immigration and also Palestine Action I believe it is an interesting and worthwhile listen, well worth the time.

It was great to hear a front line politician being so open and answering each question asked and I found the discussion around being a muslin in Britain interesting.

I appreciate that for the haters on here, especially the most frequent posters above, this will just be fuel on the flames.  I respectfully suggest you simply ignore this post.

If anyone listens I would be interested in your views.

 :hi: :hi:

I also thought it was a interesting podcast. That Shabana says Islam is the most important thing in her life is a problem for me and many others, not because of her personal faith, but because she says that and is in government.

She talked about antisemitism, where is the rise of antisemitism coming from? From blokes called John or is it from fellas called Muhammed?  :unknown:

She talked about the rise of Islamophobia, what rise? criticism of the ideology of Islam is legitimate, the Home Secretary should not be using that made up word to protect her faith from criticism.

She called the Patriot Platform far right, with zero evidence of her claim, and she's a lawyer apparently? But admitted that PP stayed on the right side of the law.

Campbell asked her what she thought about all those on the far right he says Shabana is the only one who gets it, and she said they would kill her in a moment, unclear if she means the actual far right lunatics who would have her dead or deported, or does she mean anyone who disagrees with mass immigration.

She said maybe in the future they could help minorities in the Middle East to gain asylum like gays and women, I wonder what ideology in the Middle East would these folk be persecuted from?  :unknown:

She was right about not giving a free pass to foreign workers, to many work visas for low skilled workers has been abused.

She talked about the pro pally groups who abused her and her team during election, if that was the far right those would have been nicked in a heartbeat.

Rory & Alistair where their usual smarmy hypocritical selves, if they were interviewing a openly Christian government minister, who said their faith was the most important thing, they would not have been loving that, they would be condescending and be ridiculing.  :hi:

It's sadly reflective of the bullshit propaganda that the mainstream press pumps out that you ever took seriously the idea that the Palestinians were ever offered a bona fide two-state solution.
One of the Israeli negotiators even said about the Oslo(1993) accords in a later interview that if he was Palestinian he would not have accepted the terms offered.
Israel has never intended to give the Palestinians a state and you only need to read the quotes of Weizmann, Jabotinsky, Ben Gurion, Begin, Meir(yes their women are no better in this regard) and pretty much every leader since to know this.
They used to pretend but Bibi and Ben Gvir are rather proud of it now.
So there really should be no excuse.

I'm guessing the rise in Anti-Zionism is down to blokes called Donald, Howard, Antony, Benjamin, Ittamar, Bezalel, Vlodymyr, Schmuley, and Larry.
And women called Luciana , Angela, Margaret and Rachel.
I've not noticed that much of a rise in antisemitism but boy they're pulling out all the fucking stops and false flags to make it a reality.

That Shabana says Islam is the most important thing in her life is a problem for me and many others,

She talked about the rise of Islamophobia, what rise? criticism of the ideology of Islam is legitimate, the Home Secretary should not be using that made up word to protect her faith from criticism.

So Islam is an ideology?
Just out of interest what is Christianity ?
I suppose Atheism is an ideology because it's certainly not a religion.
Or Humanism ?
For someone I largely agree with on the proxy war in Ukraine I'm baffled how you take such an extreme stand on this issue.

She called the Patriot Platform far right, with zero evidence of her claim, and she's a lawyer apparently? But admitted that PP stayed on the right side of the law.

Gaslighting.

Some people would say that calling Islamophobia a made up word is in itself islamophobic.

Suggesting the Patriot Platform are not far right is pure gaslighting.

The trend now is acting as victim or using victim card eg: women - gender, Islam - minority, black people - racism
I would say if a person want to live and work in the UK, not forcing others to believe and do what they think is right (culture, religion) are welcomed. If anyone want their culture and religion practices here then go back to your countries please.
Atheism stand close to Humanism where religion divides people , it’s funny still people believes in religion rather God says they want Humanity.

Yes Islam and Christianity are ideologies, but nobody in the UK gets cancelled or threatened with arrest for criticism of Christianity.

I can't recall anyone being cancelled because of criticism of Islam.
Now criticism of Israel. Well that's a different matter. Even Jews aren't immune from that cancellation.

I couldn't help but notice you forgot two groups who like to claim victimhood.
One is never out of the news.
And the other infests social media.
The whining is incessant from these two groups.

The Trump administration has unveiled sweeping sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) in a significant acceleration of its attempt to "dismantle" what it sees as a "rogue" institution.

IN AN ENTIRELY UNRELATED MATTER

Former ICC judge Navi Pillay was awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for her efforts to promote peace and international law.
