Absolutely horrific attack. If he survives, the facial injuries will be life changing. Sickening.

Many news sources are using the term 'beheaded' as you have done, but you will surely know that isn't an accurate assessment?

@ Jerboa    Did you miss my question or are you just avoiding me again?

Doc, having seen the video, I can understand why some in the media have used “attempted beheading” instead of “stabbing”.  It does appear to be what he was attempting to do, he’s slicing at the guys neck.  It also seems that he didn’t succeed because he had a Stanley knife or similar and it wasn’t up to the job.

I wonder if he would have survived if the guy with the hurling stick hadn’t intervened.

Unfortunately I've seen the video. The assailant was definitely using a sawing/cutting action on the victims neck, attempted beheading would be accurate from what I viewed.
He was also stabbing this victims face, neck and torso.
First time I've seen anything like that and it was truly horrific.

You are very needy, he was attempting to behead the lad IMO, it was lucky he didn't have a larger knife/cleaver, the poor man is lucky to be alive, he is in critical condition, he will have life changing injuries. The Sudanese migrant should have never been in the country.

When is Digwa's brother getting arrested for perverting the course of justice, helping a offender?

Bigden are you Jerboa's press secretary?  :D

Firstly the victim has no reported injuries to the neck. He has multiple slicing injuries to his face (in particular eyes) and injuries to his back) His injuries are described as Serious. There is no mention of life threatening

He used a kitchen knife. To decapitate someone with a kitchen knife is almost impossible. It requires considerable time and a fair degree of surgical skill. An axe is another matter.

If you did attempt to remove someones head by slicing through from an anterior aspect (he was on his back) the victim would almost certainly be dead quite quickly (albeit with his head still attached)

I am indeed very needy. He is not in a critical condition as in my post. I see you are now backtracking to say 'if he had a cleaver' ... but he didn't.

Oh and I gather that picture of road closures you posted is AI generated and false

You sound more upset that the lad wasn't beheaded rather than outraged that he was mutilated in the street.

That's a really weak diversionary tactic? An ad hominem slur on my character? You could instead comment on the factual points I raised.

Even an axe can take a couple of tries, which is why Anne Bolelyn asked for, and got, an execution by sword. The imported  French Executioner was so quick that it was reported that her lips were still moving in prayer.

Sorry I didn't reply to that bit. Thankfully and hopefully, we may never know. I would speculate that 'suffering' was perhaps more important than causing death, or at least in the short term. He will no doubt be assessed, but to do what he did is somewhat off the scale.

I see no mention of injuries to the attacker? If I had hit him with a hurling stick there would have been. Thank god the public intervened.

And what the fuck are you even on about?  Business Times is the Singapore equivalent of the FT, I could have picked any one of a dozen articles about that and Voice of America is the US largest international broadcaster, pretty much the US equivalent of BBC World Service.
So you're admitting that BBC World Service is blatant propaganda?

It's not mindless if it's for a reason. Like those peaceful Palestinians who love a bit of burning and looting.

They always do - that's why the PSNI are the only British force with  water cannon and baton rounds.

They are saying they’re burning buses in Belfast because those buses are used to transport migrants from the south.
I heard they’re burning out HMO’s that house migrants too.

just because his parents arrived here [no doubt when why how to follow] & he was born here this unfortunately ticks the this box
they really are not
a british passport for them both is a disgrace
it should be permission to stay at best
the two of them brandishing a british passport [BP] after being on their travels is a disgrace
this lessens the value of the BP
not that Digwa will be needing a passport anytime soon revoke it
& deport him when he finishes his sentence
in the meantime he;s just maybe had a prison welcome boiling water avec sugar added

Actually their father was born here too.

He’s already been charged and appeared in court a week ago on multiple charges.

The brother, father and mother are all facing charges.  The father and brother for possession of weapons and the mother for concealing the murder weapon.

No, he hasn't.
As a "high profile" prisoner, he'll most likely be put on the segregation wing with other "vulnerable" prisoners
