You love that word framing don’t you 😂

A sterling job eh !

I very much doubt that. He habitually stops answering questions that he can’t answer, sometimes ending the interview or more likely to call the journalist crooked or fake then moving on to take a question from a tame press member.

Like I said. I find him totally fascinating but not in a good way.
Still……….. as an example of how to blatantly enrich yourself in office. There’s been no one better. 🤷🏼

Well that’s not even close to true

Why do Trumpettes (Just as good an analogy as TDS) keep bleating on about Biden and Obama.

The main differences between Trump and Obama is crystal clear. One could answer questions asked of him without resorting to calling the interviewer crooked and stupid.

Thank-you though for allowing me to come to my own conclusions over what I watched. 😂

It’s easy to answer questions when a deferential media is just asking you why you’re so great   The most “hostile” interview Obama faced was from Brett Baier and it was nothing in comparison.

The difference in media treatment is glaring and relevant, which is why i mentioned it.

Interesting viewing for those still labouring under the illusion that Trump and Netanyahu are having any kind of disagreement behind the scenes.

Why would it matter if he's a millionaire, privately educated former merchant banker?

Because he is the exactly what he says he hates, the establishment.
If he got any more establishment he would have a Blue Plaque on him!

For many of us the state of the United Kingdom’s defence capability is a cause for major concern:
External Link/Members Only

That concern crosses party lines, albeit without quite reaching Jeremy Corbyn.  Indeed there is something approaching consensus among "right-thinking people" that more money is needed for defence.

Which brings me to last night’s edition of The Wrap on Sky News.

The quality of The Wrap varies from night to night, depending on who the guest commentators are.  Some – Adam Boulton, Steve Richards and Christina Patterson come to mind – are first class.

Last night we had Rachel Shabi, who is not hugely impressive (although Wikipedia tells us that, born to Iraqi Jewish parents, she “identifies” as an Arab Jew and – to her credit – is vehemently opposed to by Israel’s actions in Gaza, which she has denounced as "genocidal violence").

But on the matter of defence, she is living in cloud-cuckoo land.

In last night’s programme, Shabi said that calls for more spending on defence were orchestrated by the right-wing media to suit their own agenda (without specifying what that agenda is) and that any extra money would be better spent on “diplomacy” – as if an extra few billion used to recruit more Sir Humphreys into the Foreign Office would turn Putin into a decent, peace-loving human being.

What lures the Shabis and Corbyns into a false sense of security is the feeling that all these wars (even the war in Ukraine) don’t really affect us – ignoring the way that Putin is constantly edging forward in his aggressive tactics against the UK.  This approach is sometimes known as salami slicing, as indeed Sir Humphrey explained to Jim Hacker in some detail in a 1986 episode of Yes, Prime Minister that I saw only a few nights ago.

Diplomacy is not going to cut the mustard.  And the mustard needed for the salami is going to be very expensive mustard – Tiptree English Wholegrain, you might say, rather than Colman’s.

We never got the best or the most modern, what we did have was amazing training and an ability to adapt to what we were supplied with.  Though I hear from friends now in the training world and who have kids in training that even that is a bit lacking now too sadly.

Of course they’re aligned.  Where I disagree with you on this is that you believe the US is doing Israel's bidding, whilst I think it’s the opposite.

😂😂.    I’ll wait until you name a former President who made more money than Trump during his tenure. M
By the way……….  Have you received your gold phone yet.

I don't think the US is doing Israel's bidding. It's doing the bidding of billionaires, oligarchs, Wall Street, Silicon Valley  and multinational corporations .
If you have evidence that it is doing it to improve the lives of Iranians or even ordinary Americans I'd love to see it.
Brian Berletic is quite clear in this and other videos I've posted where he clearly states this is long held policy to destabilise the Middle East , and disrupt China's energy supply. In other words it's a fight against a multipolar world and therefore to maintain US global hegemony.
Israel is a tool, which serves the purposes of that policy.
The main difference between us is you seem to think US hegemony is a good thing.

It's definitely lacking. The army fitness test is now a disgrace. Anything to meet those quotas eh?

I don't mind if Trump makes himself a trillionaire so long as he keeps the border secure, deports the illegals, and keeps winding up lefty lunatics without getting out of bed.

Do you live in the US? If not why do you care about immigration and border control?

Shouldn't you be more bothered about the effect on the world economy of his ill fated adventures in Iran?

Or that he wanted to drop nukes on Iran but a couple of generals wouldn't give him the codes. Allegedly.

Why can't I care about America? Shouldn't you be more bothered about all those HMOs popping up near your kids' school?

I can't agree on this It's obvious Trump is desperate to get out of this war. This has gone down as the biggest blunder in US history of wars , bigger than Vietnam and Iraq this take some doing.

Trump would have been out of this a long time ago but No way Israel would let them .

Trump's easy option would be to go in there drop a few bombs and declare victory, Iran would fire a few small drones at US bases give them a heads up and claim it retaliated and deterrence still in effect.

Israel is driving this iran war and the US is getting dragged along. But truth be told this isn't anything new Israel has been dictating middle Eastern policy for decades, The big problem israel has is it can no longer hide.

What its doing and everybody knows about it and no amount of fake anti-semitism, You hate the Jews, You're denying the Holocaust is going to get them out of it.....

Don’t worry mate, the Trump Years have been just a learning period to prepare us for the Burnham / Paulen coalition, then we will know real despair.
