Yes - my punting trip to Germany at the end of the month is definitely not going to happen as the FKKs in the area I was going to have all been shut down.

Not just NRW (area around Duesseldorf). Artemis in Berlin is closed, as are all brothels in BW (area around Stuttgart). Although Palace, Oase and Sharks (around Frankfurt) are still open, it can only be a matter of days, or even hours, before the authorities close them as well. Globe in Zurich is still open, though they have suspended their voyeurs day on a Tuesday, but their sister club History in Basel is closed.
I was planning a FBSM meeting in London later this week, but as the WG offers light kissing and an exchange of fluids through close body contact is inevitable, I have decided to save my money and have a good blow out (blow job :P) when the risks of infection have diminished significantly.

So now we are being told to avoid restaurants, pubs & clubs and 'avoid "non-essential" travel and contact with others'.

We are obviously not going to be told to stop punting, but this is surely effectively classifying punting as a risky activity for the purposes on the spread of the coronavirus given that it involves non-essential travel and intimate personal contact with someone who sees many others on a similar basis.

I already said I had stopped any thought of punting for the foreseeable future and that was just a precaution; now it is a necessity. Anyone who carries on punting is being irresponsible or selfish. I expect to be attacked for saying that and we all have free will until there's a curfew, checks or whatever so each do what you feel you must!

...and so it begins. Heading for martial law and a cashless society. The plan all along.
So, even if you can get out on to the street to see a SP, will she be able to take card payments?

Don't laugh! It's going that way!

Time for gold and silver to make a comeback as real money? Prossy will need to get a magnet.

Whilst there was a spread of 'Available Today' green lights today on AW, one assumes there will be none tomorrow and the entirety of the 'Escorting'  trade is in effect shut down until further notice, probably for the first time in history, an effect on punters and providers alike. Would anybody like to suggest how much punting related client to SP, cash will not be changing hands in the UK mainland, daily, as of tonight?
--
The pub/ cinema/ restaurant/ hotel/ taxi/ entertainment/ theatre trades and many others alike will never be the same again.
--
A few days ago I noted I think 1100 Available Today, female escorts..., (United Kingdom nationality only), in UK, that figure is now 9500......  certainly perhaps a price review at least when things get going again, however long that takes.
--
Last time there was anything remotely like this there were bombs flying around as well, at least that aspect is absent this time, we survived that, albeit with a lot of hardship, loss of life and difficulty, we can of course in most cases survive this.... The heroes this time instead of the pilots, are perhaps the NHS workers and scientists and all that lot....
--
And finally, when will the criminal fraternity raise its head seeking to take advantage of this - any early indications yet noticed on the horizon?
--
Keep safe...

OK ive not punted in a while but in the current climate i wouldnt do it anyway and id be cutting back on any social interaction/exposure to large groups in contained spaces/public places. You cant go wrong having a wank. Anyway a punter shortage might cause a big price reset. They have ben ripping people off for too long.

Certainly possible, and it will be interesting to see how this industry recovers, but a prossy charges what she charges.
If it's not the right price for the punters circumstances then don't punt her.
There are plenty of alternatives available and a price range for everyone.

Personally I choose not to fuck expensive girls. I can afford to but I don't.
Maybe we'll get prossys on the NHS after this virus panic.

I think Kamilondon was referring to the practice of taking a small container of water with you when you go for a shit and then washing yourself in situ , a practice common in many parts of the world and increasingly in the UK, not washing your ass in the kitchen sink

I can assure you that in the grim days of the early 1940s such niceties and delicacies of behaviour didn`t exist, and when your visit to the privy was outside daylight hours a dash from the Anderson Shelter to the kitchen for a can of water before the dash to the Privy, particularly when  the sirens might sound and the bombs start dropping any moment, was not to be contemplated - last week`s newspaper was in there ready and waiting and that was enough - you don`t have a shitty arse just because you`ve wiped it with newspaper instead of  fancy bog roll - only a sore one.  Indeed, I dread to think of the response if anyone had even suggested it, but I doubt if they`d have dared show their face in our neighbourhood again.

Undoubtedly, punting is avoidable contact.

Statistically, whether a punt is more 'dangerous' than a 1hr journey on a crowded train or being at work with others all day, who knows?  :unknown: But avoidable, nonetheless.

We're all free agents of course, and people can make up their own minds. Personally though, I shall be exercising my groinal region manually for the time being, and availing myself of the plethora of sexual content on the web. Who knows, I may even pick up a new kink or three, who'd have thought two years ago that I'd be getting my rocks off with pretty, hot and lusty transsexual girls? Not I!  :D

Due to various circumstances in both my personal and professional life I’ve not really been punting that much in that past six months. As it happens those circumstances changed in the last fortnight and i decided I could take this up again. However after the escalation over the past weekend of the covid-19 situation i think I’m going to put punting on hold, in the same way I won’t be going clubbing or to the cinema for the time being. I’m not in a high risk group myself but I don’t want to unwittingly spreading the virus around. Gutted as I’d really been looking forward to it and there were some new girls on the scene I was looking forward to seeing.

Funnily enough the last sp I saw a couple of weeks ago is now saying she’s “on holiday” until April

punting may about to become harder in london, Tubes are talking about weekend service on weekdays so may be harder to get to places.

Train companies are talking about changing timetables to be fewer then usual.
this virus has wrecked most things, sports, work, social, lives.
The escorts will become pg sellers, or there may be a spike in glorified escorts(sugarbabies)

Also may be able to bag a sugerbaby cheap, if theres less people to take them out then they may accept a cheap but respectable offer.

Theres talk that covid19 has been in UK since december and gone undedected.
Also fromborris speach we are 3 weeks away from an italy style outbreak. so 3 weeks away from lockdown.

Yea I think that's what some of the care free younger lot keep forgetting. You could give your mum a hug after going to the gym and then the next thing you know she's in hospital.

I'm personally not going to take that risk.

Saw my lovely old mum yesterday, we did elbow bumps and had a bit of a laugh about it.

But at her age, she could easily be finished off by Covid-19. A shame because barring accidents she could quite possibly reach a ton like her mum did.

IMO once the number of cases rise exponentially, which they will, then you will see more burds suspending activities
Saw a burd last week & in the chit chat bit asked her if things were ok for her
Response was punters cancelling bookings, more than would usually be the case
So will be easier to tee up a session
In the short term me thinks the no. of punters taking a tactical sabbatical will exceed the number of SPs doing the same
Given that punters look at the fun to be had & SPs will look at the income
Its easy to pass on stuff like holidays eating out & punting [well not so easy on the latter  :dash:].  But less so easy to pass where money is involved
So given the risks will punters be more motivated to go to work when if they don't turn up they don't [or are unlikely to] get paid - the answer is yes
Then things will even up & there will be both less burds & less punters
Which is a bit like being in a euro knocking shop when its quiet.  Much more fun when its lively with both punters & SPs
Call me robert, as in peston

The PM has said everyone in the UK should avoid "non-essential" travel and contact with others to curb coronavirus

Seems pretty clear, unequivocal and easy to understand. Presume he's had to spell it out in simple terms for the "hard of thinking"?

Unfortunately there will still be scum out there who refuse to see how it applies to them but the subtext to his announcements today is that although he wants the public to "self-regulate", next week legislation is being published to give powers to the police and other authorities to physically intervene and deal with anyone not complying with the requirements. Unclear what that means at this juncture but it appears to revolve around physically moving or removing anyone from situations that contravene the above advice.

Offline Haruki

So the PM tells us to avoid all unnecessary contact with other people.  So are those such as Daviemac who up to yesterday adamant they would continue to punt still proceeding with it?  Surely this is now really clear that punting is not to be undertaken?

Boris the baffoon

Advises us to avoid pubs, clubs and restaurants, clever plan. Many of these places have insurance that kicks in when and only when they are forced to close. This way he gets the closing effect and at ni
o cost to his mates in Lloyds, keeping the cash for Branson wgo wants £7.8 billion to stop his airline going bust. Train operators all with there hands out for cash, market forces tough shit all round.

This will all end badly.

In the meantime I arranged one last throw of the dice tomorrow with a regular. Its my last engagement of any sort as I just cancelled everything else for the next few months. No hols in Majorca, no weekends in Belgium and even my Scottish roadtrip gone.

This site is going to need the old off topic board back at least for a while as there are going to be no reports for months.

I think life as we know, will change for the next 12-18 months, or until there is a vaccine, or a cure

They talk about resumming some football in Dec, now I dont think its going to be possible, if the news story about the Japanese male is true, and he has been re-infected, then you have an issue

The virus may very well ease of, and during the summer, we dont see that many infections, but what happens when we get to the winter, and just like the common cold, the virus starts up once more

So I think until we have a cure, the whole world is fucked in a big way, and if I'm correct, Xmas is cancelled

Au contraire, with imposed confinement with others who drive you potty then there should be a multitude of easy excuses for going out:

1) I don't want to see your lips flapping any more.
2) I don't want to hear your constant moaning.
3) I need some fresh air, going for a jog, will be home later all smelly and sweaty.
4) I going to see if I can get some toilet paper, I may be some time.
5) If I stay in with you any longer I'll murder you.
6) I love you darling but if I hear any more whining from those kids I will take them to the bridge in a bag.
7) Taking the dog for a long walk
8) going for a round of golf on my own
9) Going for a drive.
etc.

For those of us who are single and don't have overly clingy friends and relations with proximal contacts to vulnerable persons, now's the time to tee up some "exclusive" negotiated arrangements with regulars, favourites or tame SPs during the fallow period.
