i cant believe its here in uk. i remember reading about in in china in December and thought its local. they will contain it.

Now all of a sudden we have cases rising daily. Also remember we could have had this anytime from December to Feb. The media was not reporting and any person that had a temp/cough prob thought it was seasonal flu/cold. Yet it could have been covid 19 then.

The threat is more now. but looking at the news, china had this for three months and still got cases. can peple really last that long without punts and life in general. stay in isolation for 3 months. no thanks.

I think cool heads and patience is needed now more than ever. We are a few weeks behind Italy and after seeing a poor lady struggling to breathe after losing her husband, I'm of the opinion this is very real.

I got really angry earlier this week at our benevolent leaders who, apart from saying they have to level with us in that we should prepare to lose loved ones...to then casually mentioning a 'school of thought' (which is to say our hand selected scientific advisers are ideologically driven) is to let the virus pass through the population (i.e. do nothing that could stop the tills ringing and donations coming in). Herd immunity is something that should develop over a much longer period of time and with the use of a vaccine. If Britain does pretty much the opposite of every other nation...how will we ever be allowed to travel freely again? We'd be labeled as a dirty, infected country.

The real kicker is how many industries are lining up, cap in hand, for subsidies and bail outs. What happened to our market driven economy? Surely let the market decide and allow the railways and airlines to tank. A new company can take over with new ideas....market forces and all that. But now...alas...it's socialism to the rescue because there's an existential threat on the horizon and Cummings and Co have run out of ideas. Time to raid the tax purse.

So rather than engineer our way out of it with British companies making more ventilators and beds (happening but not soon enough), we're apparently going to buy them up from the private health care sector (again...Tory donors)...and...'no price is too high'. It is a piss take.

I think it's dawning on them that you can't really defend yourself against a virus you can literally breathe in when you're close to someone infected. You cant go wrong having a wank. Anyway a punter shortage might cause a big price reset. They have ben ripping people off for too long.

A remark which can only show your complete and utter ignorance of conditions at the time when probably only one house in ten had a bathroom, and for the remainder the Lavatory was a hut at the bottom of the back yard (many without even a water flush), the only tap was the cold water tap at the kitchen  sink, where arse-washing was not encouraged, and any body washing was confined to the weekly scrub down in the portable tin bath which had to be hand filled by bucket from the kitchen tap and the kitchen boiler and emptied similarly.

I even tried a few out of my price range (kind of praying they dont respond) and a few out of my area (no idea how I would get to them if they respond).

I think Kamilondon was referring to the practice of taking a small container of water with you when you go for a shit and then washing yourself in situ , a practice common in many parts of the world and increasingly in the UK, not washing your ass in the kitchen sink

Maybe the WGs haven’t responded to him because they are busy with their regulars, or they can spot from his location or how he worded his message that he is not genuine. I dunno, but starting a dialogue (in any business) without any interest in purchasing is timewasting.

Currently on the government briefing, this was asked, and the reply you could catch it again, but they didn't go into details, so think it more to do with mutation of the virus.  So come Oct/Nov does the virus take hold once more, and we dont even have  a antidote yet

I doubt that we shall ever find out the rate of transmission from SP to punter as I can not see many punters declaring that they were in very close contact with an SP just before they are put on a ventilator  .
