It's quite common for women on Seeking to use Telegram rather than WhatsApp as it offers more anonymity given they don't have to divulge a phone number. Of course that does increase the risk they could be scammers too, but I've met plenty of legit women who used Telegram only.

A very similar topic was discussed in December but I'm going to raise a variant on the "married but seeking" theme, if you don't mind.
