On a Sunday in January I visited Villa Palazzo, a nicely decorated, large swingerclub with only genuine swingers. It is located in Wulfen, a village within the municipality of Dorsten, only between 30 and 45 minutes away from the Dutch-German border by car.

This club is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The themes on Friday and Saturday vary. However I would like to try out ‘Die grosse Molly special-party-night’ (focused on chubby women; whom often have big boobs) and ‘HÜ platinum night’  (Herrenüberschuss = men surplus). Every Sunday they have the same theme: ‘Erotischer Entspannungs Sonntag’ (erotic relaxation Sunday). On Sunday the club opens at 14.00 and closes at 22.00 (unlike the other days, when the club opens at 20.00 and closes at 4.00).

The club is located in some sort of industrial park on the edge of Wulfen, so there are plenty of free parking places and a lot of privacy. It is a nice, relatively new, large villa, which stands out between the factories, warehouses, etc, and has a large garden with wooden fences. This particular Sunday it was cold and rainy, so no one ventured going outside, but in the summer you can have a good time outside: going in the pool, sunbathing, eating, etc.

You enter the club via a side entrance on basement level. When I entered this building I was impressed by the quality of the interior: most clubs in Holland don’t have this level.
First there is an office, where you can pay the fee and get some information, then there are two large locker rooms and four play rooms: two normal play rooms (one of which can be closed from the inside), a large room with several matrasses on the floor for group activities (and a wall with holes in several places, through which people can watch or put something) and then there is a SM-room with a table to lie on, a small cage, a sling,  a cross on the wall and several other attributes.

On the ground floor there is a bar with a large dancefloor (primarily filled with bar tables) and a large screen with porno. Adjoining there is a large, but warm, tent where the food is displayed and one can eat. There is plenty of food: at some hours they have warm food, other hours they have pies, cakes, etc. (I saw some fatties shoving several big pieces of pie through their mouths.) At the bar they serve all kinds of alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages. Then there is a large smoking room and a room which contains a very large hot tub and a small-medium sized sauna. And then, quite close to the stairs, there is some sort of living room (with 5 couches) where one can relax and have a drink quietly. On the ground floor area I didn’t see anyone having sex. (Sex in the hot tub and sauna is clearly prohibited, according to a large sign.)

Upstairs is where most of the sex takes place. There is a large room with many matrasses where group sex took place. Next there is a room, with a small and low opening, where there is almost no light. Then there is a normal room with a bed which can be ‘closed’ with a curtain. Following, quite in an open place, there is a very large bed where people can have fun and be watched. At the end of the hall there is a room, with a red rope, only for couples and next to it is a dark room (which was completely dark, so I didn’t enter). Moreover, quite close to the stairs, there is a bathroom where one can shower.

The price is 90 euro without a reservation and 80 with a reservation. One can make a reservation via telephone or an account on joyclub.de.
(An account on joyclub.de is quite handy, since you can see profiles of couples and single women that also made a reservation and make contact with them. There were many people. I think close to 100 most of the time, but given the size of the accommodation it didn't feel crowded. First thing I noticed was the composition: in Holland and Belgium the vast majority consists of single men and here the majority consisted of couples: I think couples formed more than 60% of the attendees, single women around 10% and single men less than 30%. This might have something to do with the theme: relaxation, not only in the sexual sense, played a large role and it was the end of the weekend (so women might be less sexually focused than they would have been otherwise). Moreover the HÜ parties attract many men (because the price for men is significantly lower and they know that a certain kind of women attend) and NRW is the most competitive place in Europe (there are so many places where you can have guaranteed sex for little money).

- The German language and German people. Dutch and Belgian people often have a better understanding of the English language than German people. And unlike most  Belgian and Dutch people, German people tend to be less open towards other people (unless you speak near perfect German). This means even more effort. I know this is a simple generalization, but this is my experience based on many social encounters during my life. And it helps one to realize the importance of knowledge of the Germane language and culture in order to better connect. Besides when one knows it will probably be harder, one can adjust to that idea and don’t give up easily.

Since there is no sex guarantee, one should keep the above mentioned points in mind and try to act accordingly. Nonetheless, there is a not-unrealistic chance that one goes home without having had some sex.

I will probably visit this swinger club again in the future, but next time I will visit a different theme. First on my list is the HÜ party, because there the women are more focused on single men and I expect to have sex with more women more easily. Furthermore the price is significantly lower: 45 euro with reservation. And maybe I will visit the ‘Molly-party’ someday to fuck some fatties with big tits.

Although the price is 80 and everything is included, I ended up paying 85 euro. This because slippers (or similar footwear) is mandatory, so I had to rent slippers (5 euro rent and 5 euro deposit).

The interior is great, the hot tub is very nice and the food and drinks are much better than in most other places that I have been.
