In the interest of fairness after doing some more digging prompted by VW, whilst my PC was set locally to UTC there is also a timezone setting hidden under twitter profiles (Settings > Account > Timezone) which was indeed set to PST and overrides the timezone set by my PC.

I think Mr B is absolutely entitled to air his views, after all this is what a review site is all about.

Recently I had a girl cancel on me for the third time, and though I was miffed on the 3rd occasion that she had done it at least she got in touch with me first on each of those 3 occasions rather than me finding out otherwise. And gave a plausible reason on each occasion why she was cancelling. When we finally met up, the first thing she did was sit me down and was incredibly apologetic about the 3 cancellations, ending it by saying she was going to make the wait worthwhile!

Despite not knowing him, Little Katie should have been much more respectful to Mr B and sent him a private message giving him more details of exactly why she was cancelling on him yet again. If she had done that I don't think Mr B would have posted this, and may have been inclined to give her another chance. If I have interpreted the third cancellation correctly, Little Katie was relatively vague on the reason why she cancelled on him, all it does is give him the impression that she doesn't give a shit about him.

If you cant see you have a conflict of interest in this issue then I am surprised. I had booked to see her last Wednesday but got cancelled. Was I disappointed, yes very (as I lost out on the non-refundable hotel booking I had done for post punt as it wasn't an overnighter) but was I harsh or nasty, no (I didn't even mention this to her). As I have said in my previous post, the OP is entitled to his review but below are my thoughts. I would have dealt with it slightly differently but we all have different thresholds of acceptance!
 
It is how we deal with people who we believe have wronged us, despite offering an apology, that is important. It takes courage to apologise & is not a sign of weakness! It is the 'intention' or 'motive' behind a person's act that matters & as long as there is no malice involved, I would err on the side of giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I never understand bookings that far in advance. I've booked Xena a few days in advance (once).

Other than that I punt when I feel the need. That sometimes   with only a few hour thought and notice.

I book to my requirements and if I can't book with in the time frame that works for me. I look elsewhere or don't punt

Had my fair share of cancellations with Katie and never felt the need to post negative comments. I seem to remember being promised an appointment in June by Katie only to lose out because she forgot she had promised the London crowd the same, one of whom was Mr brightside.I got an apology and another date to see her so all was good. Yes she can be disorganized but I think a family crisis is more than a good reason to cancel regardless however late in the day. Yes I am bias in my support for Katie having enjoyed her company on many occasions and I have got to know her well enough to know she doesn't cancel lightly. Sorry Mr brightside you felt the need to post a negative review especially as I believe Katie is being genuine but good luck anyway.
