Author Topic: Blocked by an SP due to a previous review  (Read 326 times)

Offline Snagbadjer

I recently messaged an SP, whom I'd seen a few times previously, to arrange another meet and received a rather long reply stating she would not see me due to information I'd posted in a previous review.

There were three complaints: first, I got her age wrong (by 3 years); secondly, my estimation of her height was off by a few inches (heels are misleading!); and I posted what I'd paid for the meet (her rates appear to change for different locations). Her issue was that this affected her business. She seemed personally offended and to think I was calling her old (I wasn't). My review was positive - I read it back and couldn't find a single bad thing about it apart from the age inaccuracy and height mistake.

But the biggest concern (for me) was that she said she got this information from clients (plural). Presumably, these clients have access to UKP, read my review, and went squealing to the SP about what I wrote, for reasons I can only speculate. I suspect that they saw I'd paid X for my meet and did not want to pay the Y she was charging in a new location.

While I respect the SP's decision to block me and am sorry I upset her, I am following the ethos of this site by posting information to help other punters, and as a side-effect even promoting an SP (she obviously felt differently). Posting what you paid to see an SP is reasonable, expected by site rules, and I can't be held accountable for that affecting their custom. In fairness, the SP said they thought I meant well.

I thought this would serve as a reminder or a warning that every review on here is potentially getting back to the SP via a punter or someone with access to UKP who squeals to them with the aim of bartering for extra services or a cheaper price.

Tbh what this also says to me is that other punters on here (or those just viewing as guests) are reading reviews,  looking up that SP  and instead of doing their research and reading her profile,  booking, turning up and paying her advertised rates at that time.
They are bringing up the reviews to see if they can get a better rate (if the review rate was lower) or hoping for a better service as she is now aware that punter is a member here, its applying pressure and I believe against forum rules or ethos.

First rule of fight club.....don't mention fight club

Yes we all know that service should be the same no matter who or what etc but this site or the knowledge a punter is a member, will make some SP's negative, nervous or overly favourable towards you, which in turn can lead to negative experiences down the line when others don't apply that lever and the service returns to the standard level.

Stupid assholes

The first rule of UKP should be:
1. You do not talk about UKP

After taking some time to pluck up the courage, my very first review was shown to the SP in question. She told me via WA that a punter told her the reason he booked her was because of my review. Then he proceeded to load up the site and show it to her in in entirety on his phone. i was shocked that someone would do this.

Luckily she thought it was amusing and was happy/thankful that it brought her new business, though she did comment on the detail (i started off writing pretty much every little thing that happened), it didn't cause me any problems and i have continued to see her when she is available.

unfortunately, this seems to be common. Mel_Honey is a recent example who has commented that she is being shown reviews, even though she does not want them to be shown to her, and various other SPs have mentioned that they are being shown reviews as well. There is at least one SP who i saw recently who told me she was being harassed by a punter who said he saw a review of her (might not be mine, but mine is the most recent), almost to a level of stalking. She does not seem to have any idea of the forum or where the review came from, but i suppose it won't be long.

FWIW, i do not think you did anything wrong. for myself, i am always truthful in my reviews, and have tried to tone down the amount of detail i include. i don't understand SPs who claim that their safety is compromised by leaving reviews. luckily i have not had any problems since, but am pretty sure that it has continued to happen. as i don't usually see SPs more than once, there is not really much chance for me to know if i have pissed an SP off.

i echoed your thoughts on another review recently, you should expect that your review will be shown to the SP, whether it is positive or negative. dunno what the toerags who do this expect to gain, if i was an SP i would not have any respect for members who did that, especially as they are not brave enough to tell the community that they are doing so.

i also think some non-productive members are using this as an excuse to not post reviews as well.

Reviews are an indication, not a promise. Prices can change, services may differ. The amount of SPs i have seen where reviews state that she throws in X services for free, which has never happened to me. i'm fine with that, because i don't expect it. Taking a review and expecting the exact carbon copy to happen for you is just unrealistic.

I will also add that any escort can find their reviews on this site as can any punter find reviews of escorts on here by simply doing an Internet search.

I typed into duckduckgo......Misswolf escort reviews....dozens of results,  the first being ukp, click the link and there you are looking at the reviews as a guest, you dont even need to add ukp its top of the list.  :hi:

I wasn't sure if an SP or non-UKP member could look up particular reviews, which is why I tried to be objective. But it was made very clear to me by the SP that more than one "client" had cited my review, so assuming she's telling the truth, we can conclude it's a thing and need to keep it in mind. If nothing else, it's just a bit cringe when you realise a pretty nice SP has read your review.

I generally see tourers so it hasn't really got back to me before but will certainly be much more careful what I type. The downside is honest punters might miss out on some granular detail that might be useful to them. Having said that, it sounds like I'd still have been blocked even if I wrote a one-sentence review, as I still would have given the physical description and price paid so...

Appreciate your thoughts. It's an alien thought for me to be getting my phone out to an SP and showing her reviews off UKP. Proper weasel behaviour. Whoever did that is a proper little rat.

There are some sad cunts on here - beware giving too much info to a PM asking for help and advice.
I’ve had a few of those shared on occasion too, when genuinely trying to help - “I had to show her, she made me do it” - absolute scum.

Agreed. And hard to find out who it was because they obviously never review or leave one questionable review every six months. They're just looking for scraps. It's embarrassing. Really weak and desperate behaviour and I'm sure the SPs see them as weasels too.

Ha - one is still posting on here - but common decency prevents me from being as big a twerp as to tag him.

The escort in question, how many reviews does she have, and if it less than three, understandable that someone gone gossiping to her.  If escort has a good number of reviews like 10 plus, it becomes a guessing game for her, like who made this review

Good point mate. Handful of reviews. Fewer than ten.

Sorry you had this mate. Like you, when I visit tourers I know it's unlikely I'll see them again so write with freedom. With locals, particularly massage providers, there are some I simply don't review and others I drop a short review but no follow up.

It’s just life. You are going to come across weasels and toadies everywhere.

SP’s are only human like the rest of us and will pick faults where there are none ……. So be it.

You only have to look at the number of "members" active on the site, versus those who actively contribute. The rate is very high.

What does that tell you.

Most members are takers and not givers, they will take the information from here and use it to try to win favour (simps) or extricate forced services (nasty cunts).

One SP told me it's a regular occurrence.

Punters threatening her with giving a negative review if they don't get discounts etc.

One punter even claimed to be the owner of UKP and suggested that "his" site had been good for her business, and they should come to an arrangement if she wanted it to continue.

No matter what you write, it won't make any difference. The silent majority will continue to do what they have always done.
