You can blame Tuchel all you like but the England players bottled it. Tuchel reacted to that by leaning into it. That obviously turned out not to be a good plan but there's no guarantee putting more attackers on would have worked either. England had 12% possession from the time they scored and that includes plenty of time before the substitutions. Ultimately it was a massive bottle job by the England team.
Yeah we were shit all game really and scored from our only decent attack, and then the Argies started playing.
It's easy to blame Tuchel but we weren't likely to score another goal as we were a blunt force and were basically getting battered so it was only a matter of time until we let a goal in.
Tuchel took 17 or 18 minutes to make substitutions but the way people are talking It's as if he made them and went defensive straight away

While they barely have to try to set you off...... :D
I'm really being tested by this final.
It throws up a huge dilemma.
I want Spain to win because they have the purest football ethos.
But the irrational hatred of Argentina, mostly because of pearl-clutching over bedsheet banners , is making me question my allegiances more than my admiration for the 39-year old maestro.
Thanks guys.
I'm on a win-win on Sunday.
Or at least until the first indication that this current La Rioja have to withstand a rehash of Van Bommel, De Jong and Heitinga from 2010 .
That's my fear.

I get where you are coming from
& i'm beginning to quite like you, which is a worry  :dash:

Bed sheet banners irrelevant
255 british forces didn't return & this excludes however many more injured

As for barely trying to set me off my fave pet hate is the ungrateful French cunts
When the war began, France officially declared an arms embargo against Argentina and backed the United Kingdom, though a small commercial technical team remained in Argentina to help integrate the weapons
Exocet missiles causing havoc to british ships

This is one of the many reasons why the french have been are & will forever be cunts
If it wasn't for the british [twice] they would be speaking german
Thats enough of an off piste diversion me thinks
Anyways the WC is all but over

Sounds like you have plenty of resentment to fire you up for tonight's 'Final of the Fallen'.
Kane hat-trick and he can get a Golden boot

More American bollocks

Totally agree Mr B.

Oh I can just imagine the sort of idiot who would be wearing one of those rings in, let’s say ten years time.

Oh wait a minute. I seem to have inadvertently suggested it will be Argentina who will win tomorrow.  :D

Don’t worry Max V.      I’m sure you’ll be able to get one on EBay somewhere down the line. 😂

In addition to the ring there'll be a dildo suctioned to their forehead
I dont think MV will be willing to wait that long

I like to make an effort when it comes to the argies  :hi:

Meanwhile with the Oval ball Arg hosting Eng and instead of their usual light blue are wearing shirts like  the  1996 Maradona "hand of God"  ones

It isnt working though as England 19-3 at the break - live on ITV if you want to make the effort - been several minor punchups and I reckon it will really kick off before the end

Ref's arm must be aching the amount of yellow cards he's held up in this game. Talk about a bad tempered game.

So England get some revenge by beating Argentina in the Rugby Nations championship in what was not entirely unexpected a bad tempered tetchy game.  :yahoo:

Meanwhile England are 3 - 0 up on France and playing them off the park.

7 changes have made a world of difference, they look like a different team.

been watching the rugby so really cant believe its 4-0 at half time against what at times has been the best team in the tournament - or at least were when they played their best XI or even any XI that wanted to be there

I wouldn't be surprised if they bottle it, just like they did against Argentina in second half.

Offline Stevelondon

England look fucked now 🤷🏼

The French bring on the cavalry and we take off Rashford and bring on Watkins 🤷🏼

Maybe time for Tuchel to bring on big Dan 😂

No point in defending (Again).     It’s third place for fucks sake.   Who cares. Go out with a bang at least.

Kylian Mbappé is now the all-time FIFA World Cup top scorer with 22 goals, surpassing Lionel Messi.
22 goals in 22 FIFA World Cup career matches.

Meanwhile, Michael Olise has surpassed the legendary Pelé's World Cup assist record with 7 assists in a single FIFA World Cup edition, Olise becomes the first player in history to break Pelé's long-standing record set in 1970.

Great game of football.
Great goals and individual performances.
Still puzzled with substitution decisions.
I thought he'd lost the plot again taking Rashford off and not replacing him with Gordon.
Then delaying bringing on Bellingham and Kane.

I was reading an article about all these single tournament records being broken but I wonder if this is because there are now more matches with 48 teams

Surely this has something to do with this. As for the record for the number of assists being broken in a World cup were records of this statistic kept back then  :unknown: , this seems to be a fairly recent thing. Another Americanism that has crept into the sport
