This doesn't look good:

I can't work out if it was stopped or now as I'm not familar with how it all works in parliament so this is my take on this one.

The admendment to the bill was withdrawal before it was voted on, but I'm unsure if this meant it was just withdrawn or was that the goverment accepted it(without a vote). Maybe this could maybe still be an admendent in the Lords now it's moved there and also the MP who proposed it gave a speech saying buying sex should be banned, and proposed an admendment to crimilise buying sex. That one never got withdrawal or voted on, but the chair in response to both of them basically said she supports it, but in regards specifically to banning websites that a previous act and this one should do while they will look to go further later on.

Suppose that the groups that support this have not celebrated it means it didn't happen.

Basically means not taken to a debate or vote at that time.

I feel like I am asking a really stupid question - I am old and computers are not my friend, so be gentle with me - but what is going on with Adult work?

I make regular use of the geographical search function, as the way I punt often fits in with where I happen to be in the country.   This seems to have packed up completely.  But there are clearly still profiles for working girls.

I assume this is something to do with the site transitioning in response to the new legislation?  Or am I using the wrong version?  I'm 'verified'.

Speak to me like you would your geriatric relative.  Thanks.

It works for me.

When you say "packed up completely", what do you mean?

Have you tried switching it off and back on again?

Last time I looked Guildford was not in Italy and you have specified Italy as the country you want to search in.

Much easier, imho, to go into the proximity tab and depending on how tight a search you want, for guildford I'd use the top part and search 5 miles from gu1 (or whatever postcode suited you. or in the box below type in gu, hit the arrow on the right of the box and all Gu postcodes will appear in a drop down list. select the one you want and hit search.

I think you have inadvertently set Italy as your 'home' page. Near the top right of the home screen there should be a little globe with the country next to it. If that doesn't say United Kingdom then click on it and select the UK.

I've noticed the site is now asking to accept cookies or not to. So if tap on block cookies can the site still be accessed? Other sites like AW can't log into them unless accept cookies. And then you get inundated with spam. I'll give AW a miss if that's the case.

If you click the "Cookies" link on the login page they explain each of the cookies they use and for what purposes they're used. They go use a Google Analytics tag to track what pages you visit on their site.  If you use a browser like DuckDuckGo which blocks cookies then you should be fine.

AW is reviewing its policies in the light of the Online Safety Act.  Over the coming weeks it will be purging all pictures in the girls' public gallery deleting and not allowing pictures that might give rise to sexual desires. So absolutely no nudity, no sexually stimulating poses whether clothed or not and no suggestive poses generally. So very few lingerie or half clothed pics. All that has to go in the private gallery. Also the text of the profile cannot suggest sex of any kind. So it has to be pretty anodine.  Be warned it will be happening to a profile near you !

Meanwhile, mainstream platforms like Instagram and X face looser restrictions, allowing suggestive or erotic photos if they don’t cross into pornography. the poor WGs ive spoken with will see their livelihoods curtailed profiles will also need to be Written in SFW while social media giants will continue to rake it in

I may have mentioned this earlier in the thread, and provided a link to an article covering this. AW say they will blur the video thumbnails, I am also under the impression actual profile details (the written part of the profile) will be blurred too.

Thankyou, AW page is a little confusing as it sounds like the profile description will be unfiltered if you login and are age verified on there (which I am)

None of the sites or apps I frequent seem yet to have implemented mandatory confirmation of age, despite some warning it would happen today (Monday 7th July). Has anyone found otherwise?

PS Having said the above, I now see that on the left hand side of each post there is a little green box saying 18+ - but I've not done anything to show that I am aged aboce 18 -  maybe exisiting users are assumed to be 18+ and conformation applies to new users only (on this site at least).

The deadline is now 25th July  :hi:

From Google -

The deadline for online platforms to implement robust age checks to prevent children from accessing pornography and other harmful content is July 25, 2025. This applies to all UK-based websites and apps that allow pornography or other potentially harmful content, as mandated by the Online Safety Act.

They're never going to be compliant
Unless they cull 80% of the database. And it's going to be worse for VS - and even more so for the other sites

Thank you Scutty. They have been in communication and told me what to do- I don't think they want the girls out.  But without posting too much I feel like it's the end of any sexy outfits. They are playing it very very safe. So nothing transparent or holey. They don't even like to see fishnets or any kind of netting, or straps etc. Even if you are dressed. No sexy posing even if you are dressed and bits are covered up. Times have certainly changed like with anything.

Thank you for the advice.

Just an update from an SP POV, thank you for the tip off about the TV programme yesterday. Over the last 6 weeks I had been removing, moving and by submission testing my photos against the new AW criteria for the last 6 weeks. Last night AW put my entire extensive gallery through moderation. Email notifications from were continuous each one telling me more photos had been moved to private gallery or deleted. I received approximately 30 such notification emails in total, with circa 250 photos removed. Quite a few of the photos had been accepted under application of their rules in recent weeks (they started moderating as per new guidelines 22nd May 2025). I've had the casual jeans photo (rear shot) which had been accepted on second submission rejected. I'd taken and uploaded several gym leggings shots, originally accepted a few weeks ago all but one rather sensible one rejected last night. Ones wearing crop top with the leggings rejected, only the one wearing long sleeve top accepted. Other phoots taken and approved in the last few weeks also last night moved out of public by AW and 2 of my profile photos were rejected, the problem is profile photos can't used anywhere else so I am quite limited particularly as this happened whilst I'm travelling.

Of course I can tailor my future photos and photo shoots to the requirements, but it's now very difficult to show body shape and the moderation is variable. Also quite an anxious time for SPs, in the last few weeks I tried to chill out about it as my photos were/are rarely nude or explicit, but was annoying and difficult to see photos already approved disappearing.

Seems like AW are in overkill mode to try and comply and not risk their entire business being closed overnight, you can see why but i'm sure it's really annoying and a real hassle for the girls.

It may well be that once the dust has settled pictures which have just been rejected can be slipped back into the main profile again  :unknown:

So fashion magazines, Facebook, advertising, Reality TV can now show more flesh than AW?  What an f'ing fiasco!

Offline Cheltclient

Think for some of the more popular and well reviewed SP’s - there may be enough intel around to do the trick. But I feel for some new SPs trying to build their business and being able to show almost nothing in their profiles. Sounds like most things are going to the private gallery.

Perhaps the escorts can vastly reduce their PG charge? Some have crazy prices - but a lot even have their PG’s at £5 - which I think most will not pay. It’s not being a cheap skate but some have theirs at like 60p and if most were like that, when thinking of a booking, I’d happily stick £10 on there and buy a fair few SP’s PG’s to see who I fancy seeing. If all the profiles are a £5 a pop, then I probably wouldn’t. Just a thought and a possible work around.

This whole bill seems a joke though. I can watch a Little Mix music video on You tube and by the sounds of it, see more flesh then on AW

Hi Strawberry,
So AW are actively wiping or moving your pics now?  I've been looking at a few existing profiles of foreign girls and they still have up plenty of shots in public that are underwear, akimbo, topless, bottoms thrusted, etc.
Everything was meant to be compliant by 1 Jul according to AW's guidelines.   :dash:

Yes AW are actively moving and wiping public galleries. Although initially 1st July was the implementation date, Ofcom or whomever have extended this to 25th July.

AW are currently working through profiles, they reached mine last night. Even though I had made many preliminary changes and checks, AW moved and/deleted 200 ish of mine. They'll do the same to everyone by 25th July.

Actually AW do allow links to both X and your own site, and have done so for a long time (10-15 years at least).

There are some conditions, the SP must have a back link, must be paying for phone number display, must only place the link in a designated box.
