Seeing an sp has posted this, would this put you off from using this hotel now.  :unknown:

I personally don't mind meeting folks for outcalls outside/the bar but I absolutely wouldn't book this for incalls going forward.

Fuuuck. That’s bad news about Leonardos
Probably 1/2 my hotel based adventures have been in there  :( :(
They even moved reception away from the lifts to make it even more sw friendly.
It was the only day use that finished at 6 with no key cards. Wonder how much this will hit them?
Funnily enough I was checking in for a day use 2 weeks ago and an escort I’d seen before was checking in at the same time

Wow that’s news to me.
I was there just 2 weeks ago. No key cards.
That would be bad news as it’s a busy punting hotel.

Just implemented today
Looks like the village and Hilton garden are going to be a lot busier.

Yeah it’s fucked for incall use now.. even some outcalls, I don’t mind having a drink either, but some people Ive met just want to meet in the room.

This is a major hit to the local economy.
We need Scot gov intervention to prevent such restrictions on personal freedoms.

But maybe they’re busy on other stuff 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Scottish Government who currently want to restrict us? That's likely why they've been told to do this after 10+ years of being workable unfortunately.

It's really bonkers.
That actual hotel has been well known for who uses it.

They will be lose a lot of business key carding hotel lifts.  :bomb:

Have a feeling over time all hotels will be pressured to do the same. Leonardo was my go to hotel... convenient in so many ways

Offline Dogbreath

How is the Radisson in Argyle Street ? I haven’t been there for a few years, but it used to be easy to walk in & go right to the lifts.

Maybe a gap in the market..
Let’s open up a pay by the hour hotel by central.
The Child and Boy Inn
The kinda place where the receptionist is a gruff, balding, unshaven dude in a stained vest who’s constantly got a fag in his mouth. We can take turns working day/night shifts.
I reckon it’ll be worth it even for the 20’s that PI’s slip us for info…🕵️‍♂️

Lifts now keycarded for anyone thinking of using here.

All Leonardo's in Scotland need a key card now. Aberdeen, the few I've been to in Glasgow and definitely the Edinburgh ones at Haymarket and near Waverly

Would the stairs be an option at Leonardo’s? I’d imagine you would also need a keycard to access floors, but I honestly can’t recall what the case is.

I have came down them, but I don't think you could ever access them to go up. When I have been doing this scenario, after contacting the SP, I just watch for the lifts moving down, and wait at the bottom, and when the door opens I step in without the girl getting out, and reception don't see her, but let's not forget, the management knows what is going on. I have been sitting in the bar, waiting for my booking time and have seen other girls that I have recognized, in getting a coffee.

Get her an UBER and you can track her journey to the Hotel.
When it says she is arriving soon go down and meet her.
You will know the Uber reg number.

If the hotel requires the use of key cards for lift access, stairwells are typically locked from the outside on each guest floor for security

Today’s fire at Central Station has closed the station and may well impact on another punters’ favourite the Central Hotel 🤷🏻‍♂️
This hobby is getting tougher every day!

No train and no hotel? God that means I'll need to go to Edinburgh. The end is nigh

Offline Fookmefooku

Anyone got any Edinburgh hotel recommendations that don't need key cards for the lifts?

Offline bigmike32

Motel 1 princes street reception is on first floor so can freely use the lifts without the use of a keycard.

I think it might be a good idea not to mention hotel names.

This could result in more hotels being key carded.  :unknown:

Anyone used Motel One near Central Station in Glasgow? Used to use Leonardo but that is now keycarded so looking for an alternative punter friendly hotel.

It's fine until 10pm when it's carded at the front door.

Very modern with very well appointed rooms. You have to walk past reception to access the lifts but it's fairly busy and not a major issue IMO. I'd recommend
