nor of society as a whole - and that is the main issue - whether its her behavour is acceptable to other teachers, teacher bodies, parents and the wider society!

I would also imagine many punters are not able to be publicly supportive, and may even publicly have to agree with the remainder of society to stay incognito.

I had an SB from Seeking who was a student teacher. She stopped seeing me once she graduated and started a full time teaching post.

there is always a certain evolution in our attitudes, about 20 years ago, a doctor at the sick kids hospital in edinburgh, lost his job, as he had a copy of a soft porn mag in his locker,,, little doubt going forward this case, will make as much sense as the execution of witches.

She probably thought that by admitting the allegations the whole thing would disappear quietly
Sadly for her it didn't
Anyway now that is is out there she will have difficulty getting another job - and even if she did she will be haunted by one of her workmates googling her name
She looks attractive so might as well go full time as a hooker - what's she got left to lose - nothing !!!

if she was represented (which she almost certainly was) she would have known that would not be the case! she would have known how serious the matter was and with a potential for dismissal.

I am less certain about when she was represented though. The school gets a letter and they are duty bound to act.
The school speaks to her when they get the letter- was she asked to bring a rep? Doubt it, she resigns the next day. Even on a very cynical basis she could say nothing and get suspended on full pay whilst all the enquiries are carried out.

And whilst she has been stupid and naive there are plenty of examples highlighted in this forum that could be used in her defence.

1. Picture and movie sellers sometimes put meeting rates on their profiles to drive traffic (snare simps)
2. A profile may have been created without her knowledge or consent - by a jealous ex or spurned obsessive for example - and they may be behind the anonymous letter too
3. A partner who was coercisively controlling her

I wonder if she was given the option to resign and it would be forgotten (a la police officers). If so, and she didn't take it, then she was certainly ill-advised or made a very wrong choice.

I wouldn't quite say that, but she certainly has the opportunity to "lean into" the sex work side now if she so chooses, with all the publicity she's just had. She could milk the "naughty teacher" angle very profitably on OnlyFans.

Having sexual content of yourself in the public sphere is no longer the social suicide it once was - the careers of Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian all flourished despite (because of?) their """leaked""" sex tapes - but that's the kind of genie that just won't go back in the bottle. Certain careers will now be de facto out of this young lady's realm of possibilities, and if she was a good teacher who loved her job and was doing sex work on the side to both blow off steam and supplement her crummy state school teacher's salary, I can't help but find that a bit unfair.

As far as I'm aware none of the ones you mentioned were teaching at an primary school when their sexual encounters came to light.

The fact remains she agreed to a certain level of ethical and moral standards and restrictions when she became a teacher and has shown a total disregard for that. There's loads of jobs that carry a certain level of standards that have to adhered to, if you don't agree with those restrictions don't do the job.

If she was stacking shelves in Tesco or some other job without restrictions nobody would bat an eyelid about her sexwork.

Teachers are governed by a fairly strict code of conduct, there's a whole section on it on the .Gov website. -

Quote
The panel will consider all the evidence and decide whether there has been:

- unacceptable professional conduct
- conduct that may bring the profession into disrepute
- a conviction, at any time, of a relevant criminal offence
If the panel decides that there has been any of the above, it will make a recommendation to the Secretary of State. A senior TRA official will decide on behalf of the Secretary of State whether a prohibition order is appropriate.

Are people on here really saying that all restrictions on teachers's conduct should be abolished so they can just do what they like?   :unknown:

If we were able to hold an anonymous UKP poll with the question "Would you be happy with your child's primary school teacher being a sex worker?" I would suggest there would be very many who would reply no.

Well it might depend on how she planned to conduct parents evening.    :D

On a more serious note it is one of those questions that for us does test your level of double standards!  I hope that I would judge her fairly on how she conducts herself at school.

That said I have spent much of my working career with an expectation that I behave to certain standards and I have been aware that I would lose my job if I behaved in certain ways.  I suspect being a sex worker would have cost me my job, and not earned me very much!!

She should have appreciated that it was going to be a problem.  But very nasty that somebody reported her and personally I do not think she needed to be sacked but it was almost inevitable at the moment.

Having your job taken away is in breach of human rights unless justified.

How is having a second job considered in breach of a profession?

Two points here which I can answer based on my contract, in my work place

(1) I can lose my job, if I bring my work's place name into disrepute, which can include posting on social media and making comments

(2) Also in my contract, if I wish to take up a second job, I must first consult with my manager, on this and what job I'm applying for, and where.  The manager can refuse my request, if application is for another supermarket, and if this job hours would interfere with my shift

So many people do not read their contract, even in quite senior positions in the type of job that routinely involves reading complex material!

some of us on here need to be mindful of this -  that using work "equipment/resources" (like a company phone, company car or hotel room paid for by the company ) for entertaining an Escort could (and i emphasis the word "could" as it depends on a number of factors including the type of organisation you work for, seniority etc) get you into serious trouble at work if ever found out.
Yes, its as low risk but a risk nethertheless!

The amount of corporate emails which were found in the Ashley Madison data breach was gigantic, way too many people are lazy regarding basic tech privacy.

Very true, however they were all people in the public eye who had - not exactly role model status - but a tacit responsibility to act accordingly to their visibility and influence. Even if the only people in danger of being influenced by the likes of Kim Kardashian were over-impressionable teenage girls.

Are people on here really saying that all restrictions on teachers's conduct should be abolished so they can just do what they like?   :unknown:

ALL restrictions? Of course not. But the guidelines are very subjective, there are plenty of perfectly legal things that could be argued to bring a teacher "into disrepute" depending on how judgmental we're being: having a couple too many at the local pub, lighting up a roll-up cigarette in public, getting a reputation for enjoying casual sex, being a divorcee... see where this could lead?

Perhaps this topic has touched a nerve for me as I used to be in education, but we have to remember these aren't members of the clergy, they're real people, who work long hours in a stressful job, on criminally low salaries. If anybody ought to be able to blow off steam outside of work, with the legal substances or activities of their choosing, it's teachers.

Can you link to where the likes of Kim Kardashian signed a contract of employment with the condition that a certain standard of behaviour is expected? if not what so called 'celebrities' do or the effect they have on others has no relevance here. The only responsibility they have is to themselves how famous they can make themselves and how much money they can make and they will do anything to achieve that aim without any consideration for others.

The fact is she chose to be a teacher, she signed a contract of employment with certain stipulations regarding expected conduct, she chose to take a chance and ignore her conditions of employment, she resigned and as a result was barred from teaching.

We are not the ones judging her, she had a hearing in front of the Teaching Regulation Agency who decided, after considering all the facts, barred her from teaching for 5 years. They are the one's judging her.

The main point is she did not adhere to her terms of employment and that is why she was barred from the job.

BTW there aren't that many careers that you can be barred from, teaching is one of them.

Very interesting debate on not allowed (External Link/Members Only allowed.com/talk/feminism/5122774-why-are-we-forcing-women-to-stay-in-sex-work?page=1) about this-interesting because of the highly moralistic tone of many of the contributors. And if not moralistic saying she broke her contract by acting in a way that damages the reputation of the school. The one who is the morally reprehensible one is the anonymous person who outed her.

The hearing she had is available here (External Link/Members Only) and shows an amazing depth of prudery

not ignoring the plight of the teacher, however imagine being one of the punters & a dad with kids at her school
that would be a blood draining moment on school pick up seeing her  :scare:
or if his son / daughter were in her class  :scare: :scare:
£1,600 a night
usual bollox reporting going for the highest amount showing on her escort profile
like she's gonna be doing these every night of the week

And on seeking , onlyfans etc
Yes and there are many male doctors  who probably visit escorts , look for hooks ups
The point relates to what is in the work contract of the individual and whether there are clauses concerning this type of activity

Yes girls on seeking. Few nurses there. They are escorts just a bit more high end

What makes you think they are more high end?

I get the arguments about if they are escorts or not, you have said they are (which many that use SB sites may disagree with, but let's not start that discussion here), in which case they are the same as any other escort working of their own free will surely? I have worded that specifically to differentiate from those forced into SW and those who operate illegally on the streets who should be getting helped where we can, but that many here look down upon.

I realise that some use seeking so that they can feel that they are not escorts, but that again would be a separate thing and would not actually make them more high end.
I am aware of your first hand experience of a sugar baby also advertising as an escort, but that is 1 instance and if anything argues against them being more high end.

Well, she can't go back into teaching.  That 5 year ban ended her teaching career.  No school would ever employ her.  Her name is on the internet linked to working as an escort.

I'd definitely book her, but nobody on here could ever name her profile if she was still working.  It would effectively 'out' her all over again.

I was in an arrangement with a SB who was also a Primary school teacher, was find with £250 for overnights and was more like a girlfriend who was very pro escorts. Don't get why she carried on working as a teacher when she was raking it in as an escort. The dad of some of the kids must have spotted her.

Does anyone know where she advertises, has a link?
