I read this in the voice of Professor Higgins in My Fair Lady

Oh, spot on dear.

And before anyone fonds my remarks sexist, allow me to contextualise…
This is a ‘punting’ forum and you are a ‘Service Provider’. In the unlikely event that you are an astrophysicist working at NASA, let us proceed by lauding your profession — or calling — a prossie — as noble, together with all things administered by Venus, the great God of Love.
Being, or appearing, a bit scatty is utterly charming and you should be proud of who you are, as i think is probably the case.
Now what if you weren’t?
I can think of the stereotypical Romanian Prossie who is completely ‘focused’. One pays her money and she opens her legs. That is her complete one-pointed focus the whole of the session and it’s appalling.
So yes, it is a good and proper feminine characteristic not to be able to focus on one thing for very long. In its place its very attractive.
Men and women are, to an extent, ‘different’, even though we can hopefully learn the qualities of the each other’s sex. Occasionally i also do ‘venusian’ things like watering the plants but I’m not very good at it.
Now although you got your hackles up you did it nicely, realising there was no malice in my post. That is also an admirable ‘feminine’ quality and altogether worthy of a reply, which I’ve just given.
Searching at random i found a list of ladylike qualities here:
External Link/Members OnlyNow most of those also apply to a gentleman though we, i.e. gentlemen, also have a few manly things going for us. We are expected to chivalrous, courageous and… have
serious interests. That last one especially means we need to be more focused.
There’s a woman on here we have teased for years about her claim to be busy ‘going to the gym’. Then one day she floored us with expert knowledge of such things. So occasionally it’s quite ‘accepted’ for a woman to display ‘manly’ qualities.
