Funnily enough the clone Armaf Club De Nuit will.

I like a fresh scent like davidoff cool water or Hugo boss.

Correct! I have a bottle of this, I bought it when price dirt cheap on Amazon. I think the prices are much steeper now. I remember wearing it and some old pensioner was following me around Tesco asking what scent I was wearing.

I’m just a bit bored with the Creed smell now. Everyone seems to be wearing it.

Classics mate. I’m still found of Kuros and Joop!

Never wear any. Just use shower gels / body wash / soap.

Leaves me smelling fresh and clean  :)

I sometimes get them for birthdays and Christmas. Use them once, then they just gather dust.

The bottles look very nice though  :)

Club de Nuit is clearly a clone, but to me is far off the quality and complexity of Aventus. That being said, it's not £350 either
Irish tweed is also very nice, but again I would say overpriced/ pricey

Offline Rock123

Can't go wrong with Hugo Boss.

Yes there was.

You're all a load of poofters!

Good old carbollock soap and a bit of foo foo powder up your crack does the job.
You could always add a touch of fiery jack on the old gonads to get you in the mood.

Tom Ford Noir de Noir from the private collection. It's not the same as Tom Ford Noir.

Fakhrul Oudh available on Amazon is excellent. It is obviously trying to look like something from the Tom Ford private collection, but isn't a copy, nor does it smell like anything from TF.

The sort that reads FHM

FHM, purchased from WHSmith @ the station, was required reading on the train back in the day
Passing the time
& pissing off a few people too especially when rotating the magazine with a look which says 'have a butchers at that !'
Loaded too

Poofters isnt perhaps the best wording to use on here
However i doubt if they would be reading FHM
As mostly full of fit burds

Brilliant
This has solved a problem with what to buy a mate for a birthday
[using the b-day as a good excuse to head down the boozer & curry house with mates]
Its boring buying them a normal prezzie, don't bother, gotta be a funny one
Or at a birthday party event & you insist that he opens it in front of everyone
This fits the bill perfectly

I smell like a proper man, Old Spice or Brut 33
Bought from my local bargain buy shop. The sort of smell that lingers half an hour after you have left the room.
None of this fancy mamby pamby aftershave  :D

Dior, The One

This last year I've taken a deep dive into researching mens fragrances via Youtube. It's a bit overwhelming as reviewers talk about fragrances as if they were a fine vintage wine with it's bouquet and top notes.

Not all that long ago I could walk into my local Boots or Debenhams and try different fragrances to see what I liked. Debenhams has gone and my nearesr Boots (since Covid) removed all sample bottles so you have to ask a member of staff to try each and any fragrance which is a pain. Consequently I have started buying blindly, or at least, based on my research.

I had Dior Sauvage but wasn't crazy about it. It's alright. Projection seemed to be weak though and I think it is THE most popular seller so every man and his dog wears it.

Creed is too expensive for me and as I have no way of knowing how it smells I am not buying it blindly at those prices.

Stronger with You appears in many of the most popular fragrances and I might make that my next purchase.

I recently bough Chanel Bleu de Chanel which isn't bad. Atypical of many of the "blue" fragrances. I haven't really worn it much yet.

One fragrance that has really grown on me is Terre d'Hermes. I didn't like it at all when first applied but after a few minutes I love it.

Another one worth considering is Bulgari Aqua.

Don't know about what its like by you but around the West Midlands "the fragrance shop" is in a lot of town centre shopping centres. When I went in once the woman behind the counter was quite expert in moving from one sample to another based on what I said about the one before. Was quite a fun thing to do.

Online RandomGuy99

Do remember that SPs may not be big fans of you turning up covered smothered in aftershave.  Just turn up clean, on time and with the right money and they'll give you a good service.

Thanks bud.

Yeah we have one of those near me too but it's quite a small shop and often busy. Only been in once or twice and the staff seem to have an attitude of "What? You want to smell some of the fragrances? Here? In a fragrance shop??"  :D

I used to wear Creed Vetiver, I always got positive compliments, until one day someone said it smells like a hotel soap. From then on whenever I wore it all I could smell was hotel soap .

I used the last up recently and it still smells like soap :dash:.

I won't be buying it again  :timeout:

2 of my favorites are

Polo - Red,  definitely my favorite smell BUT never gets any compliments
Milano L’Eau Bleue - very cheap, costs pennies , great fresh smell.

laura biagiotti roma uomo - an EX gf bought me this , im not a personal fan of the smell BUT women really love this one on a man, ive had quite a few compliments from girls for this one.

Calvin Klein - one - good as a cheaper all-purpose fragrance.

Several years ago a SP with whom I had spent a most enjoyable session mentioned in a subsequent post that men's Joop turned her wild.

On the strength of that I invested in a bottle and waited for the opportunity to test this out.

Sadly she disappeared off AW  so I never had the chance.

I've been using Joop ever since. Sparingly and infrequently so am still on only the second bottle.

Creed avantus - surprisingly never get compliments.

IMO, this is quite over hyped. My collection as of today is -

Parfums de Marly - Layton
Parfums de Marly - Herod - really good for dates and escorts
Tom Ford - Noir
Chanel - Sport Extreme - For summer/fall/autmn
Hermes - Vetevier Intense - for work
Dior - Homme Intense - Winter Dates
Issie Miyaki - Homme intense - Trash fragrance, for daily/extensive use

Offline ProjectFun

I use Allure Homme Sport by Chanel and have had a few Sp's remark on how nice it smells.

For everyday use now & again i try 'inspired by' products
They vary as to how close they are to the real thing, most are pretty good
The key difference is that they dont last as long
& the price maybe 20%-25% depending on what you like
However they are cheap enuf to whack it on & also transfer some of the copy to a small travel size / pocket spray
& more than fine for your average SP not to know the difference, or care
Tho only originals for civvys
The copies also seem to work ok using the original when heading out then a pocket spray of the copy as top up
Keep the real ones in a cupboard / in the box out of the light
Crikey this reads like something from our bestie friends over @ M-net   :scare:

Say Herod to me and I think of the "slaughter of the innocents." Probably not the first image I want to portray when indulging...
