Maybe try a punt or two, review and contribute, this way your fellow punters may take you more seriously and the mods may allow you more leeway
In general, you will find most private messages are from genuine like minded people, if unsure, read the posts and reviews from the sender, I would imagine someone with many reviews and posts with time under their belts are likely to be genuine, whereas people could be forgiven for having no trust in a newbie, with no reviews like yourself
You state you are new in the country, maybe say a little about yourself, where you are from, etc etc and maybe some of your fellow countrymen will give you time...just my thoughts
