Know someone in Glasgow had his bike stolen, and could tell police where the bike was, police not interested.
The bike had a tracker, and a week later the tracker was still working, and he could now see his bike was in the city centre. Found his bike locked up, in a bike rack, and seen two police officers nearby, called them over
He was able to identify his bike, by the serial number, so now the person who locked the bike came out. Seeing the police, and this other guy claiming the bike has been stolen, the other guy claimed it his bike, and had the bike for a good few months
The other guy was told, there a tracker in the bike, and the real owner, can proof this bike is his, serial number. The other guy was placed under arrest, and his property was searched later on that day. In his property were 6 other bikes, which the police seized, and the bike thieve got a suspended sentence
Bikes are still being stolen in Glasgow, and its suspected the thefts are down to this person, so much for the police and courts dealing with him. Seemingly he is so brazen, that he will steal the bikes in the day time, he cuts the lock and is away, with in a few minutes
