Here's a quick suggestion set if thinking of investing.
External Link/Members OnlyUnder "Reliable Investment Watches" they listed:
Navitimer from Breitling
Chronoswiss Regulator
Reverso A from Jaeger-LeCoultre
Omega Chronograph Seamaster Professional
If you have more than $20,000, you could look at these options:
Lange 1 from A. Lange Und Söhne
Nautilus from Patek Philippe
Royal Oak Offshore from Audemars Piguet
IWC Doppelchronograph Fliegeruhr
I honestly am not fond of the look of any on that list. Too many showy (and fairly useless) bells and whistles. The Navitimer is almost the closest out of them to something I'd call reasonably aesthetic. Something a bit like the Zenith Elite or JLC Master Ultra Thin is nicer, and under 10,000. Slightly more is the Rolex Cellini Time but not an investment item. For high end I would quite like the Laurent Ferrier Galet Square Micro Rotor or the Credor Eichi II, but I don't think either of these would be a reliable 'investment'. Collectors seem to like glitzy.
