My post was sent from the angle of being a new member.....just take it as an intended helpful contribution for you to ignore if it’s not appropriate. It was not a major criticism of the site rules and I don’t think it really warranted a sarcastic reply all be it you probably have the authority to do that.
As a moderator I would have thought you would welcome and encourage suggestions such as this but maybe not. Also please bear in mind that you know the site and it’s rules from being a member for yonks. I know it’s ‘simples’ now but I didn’t at the time of joining which was the point I was trying to make. If I am misguided on this then no doubt the bulging coffers will confirm that and hoorah if that is indeed the case.
How the hell can I be castigated for wanting to raise some dosh for the boss.
What I have noticed as a moderator is the number of new members who don't bother having a look round the site to see how it works, don't bother reading the rules they agree to when signing up, don't bother even attempting to find an answer that might be right in front of them, the list is endless.
The new member who posted here read the sticky at the top of the main page posted by Head1 and that included the email address for donations so he did not need to send a PM on here he could just send an email from the one he used to register and ask for details.
That plain fact is, it is simple, just some people need to be spoon fed information that is in plain sight.
Another thing I have noticed there seems to quite a few 'new' members who know more about the site and the way it works than one would expect from such a short membership.
BTW it wasn't sarcasm, it was a rhetorical question.
