I see that there is a third series of Hidden Assets on BBC4. I thought the first two were excellent, the first one included the gorgeous presence of Angeline Ball, who I have lusted over ever since she was in the Commitments all those years ago.
Another great series, and I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to get round to it again, because I find it pulsatingly good, with lashings of sex and violence, but I'm almost at the end of the final series of Banshee. So good, and Lili Simmons, who played Rebecca Bowman, is another delectable screen presence.
I started watching Young Sherlock, but after about 20 minutes I'd had enough. I'm quite partial to the Guy Ritchie films feauturing Robert Downey Jr as Sherlock Holmes, but I find this new version bobbins. I think what clinched it for me was when the action stopped to allow retrospective discussion why one character had held back hitting another during the narrative.
Rubbish, and I'm not remotely convinced by the actors playing Holmes and Moriarty.
