Just looking through the first page of aw for the Derby area. Not only are existing wg's still seemingly offering services, there's new profiles popping up.
What type of idiots are they, and who in the hell is seeing them?
Surely this is willfully endangering life, what fool's :hi:

Any chance of details of girls still working ?? Easy to find Arnold is Sherwood area...Last punt I had was a few days ago,Chubby Polish girl, working from same apartments on Wood borough Road as Lisa,is she still working?? Polish Girlwas very very fat,not just chubby, ha a job finding pussie,do no bother...waste of time and money....I am getting desperate for a good service...

I try to keep away from posting on such discussions - people should take their own responsibility for their actions - but noticed you posted this time last year that you were nearly 80 which means that you are now over that age and into an even more vulnerable group for Covid-19 which makes you even more of a thick prat. You might not care much about your health or mortality at your age but the people - including the healthcare professionals you'll need - do. Do the right thing and stay home!!!!

Just to make clear this wouldn't be acceptable either if you were young and/or had not health or other vulnerabilities.

I see AW have finally put a header statement on all profiles as follows;

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As the UK is under lockdown conditions with social distancing a mandatory requirement of all citizens, meeting other people other than those with whom you live is not allowed, by law.

This profile remains visible as offering Escort Services to give you the insight that under normal conditions this member engages in physical meetings.  At this time you may use this insight to discuss any mutual interests via DirectCam, Phone Chat or the Site's built-in email system.  The member's Available Today status can be used to ascertain their current ability to communicate with you.

By act of Parliament, in the UK, it is illegal to meet anyone with whom you do not share a household, so we have removed the facility to arrange a meeting with any advertiser and would strongly encourage you to stay at home, where possible.

More information on Coronavirus and AdultWork.com can be found here.  More information on what you are permitted to do under the current conditions can be found on the Government's Website.  (hide message)

About fucking time really

SPs are still doing meets either through email or text, just no confirmation of bookings through the site. Once the pandemic is over, even if an SP was doing meets every day during lockdown it will look on their profile like they didn't.

If you're concerned, from a moral/health standpoint, about meeting an SP after lockdown that they were still escorting through the crisis. I'd suggest emailing them and asking if they're still doing meets. A good number have said they are to me when I emailed a few a couple of weeks back. I even got a reply today from an email I sent two weeks ago saying they were still doing meets.

It's ridiculous. If you need to be making money right now and you don't have a job, apply for one of the many supermarket jobs going, or a call centre, or any of the fields of employment that are deemed essential but don't require high level qualifications.

If it's that you want to continue sex work or the monetary lifestyle you had whilst escorting, then start camming. It takes a bit of effort, but you can do it whilst sat at home watching Netflix. If you've got good people skills, it's really not hard. I've cammed with a few women so far during this crisis as I'm bored and horny and I've probably spent more money than I would with an escort because they had good chat and kept me in private for a long time.

There's an understandable concern when it comes to anonymity. But I've seen plenty of highly rated Webcam only profiles that have no face pics. There's really no excuse to be doing in person meets with people right now.

I've noticed there are a few SP's who don't have their green light on, but at the same time aren't saying they're in lockdown and hiding their AW feedback. I'm guessing they're hiding feedback because they're seeing punters, but don't want to show feedback dated from the last ~3 weeks. Effectively working undercover.

... or am I reading to much into this?  :unknown: Either way, it's my new reason to add to my blacklist.

AW has essentially turned off Escort feedback due to turning off the booking tool. I'm not sure on the date that happened, but it's not possible to leave escort feedback for now. So that won't be why an SP has hidden their feedback, unless they've got feedback between 23rd March and whenever the booking system was turned off. And then they'd only be hiding it if they're self aware enough to be embarrassed about what they've done with hindsight.

...I'm pretty sure that AW feedback is dated on the day it is left. Not everyone gets around to leaving feedback right away.  So a feedback dated after 23rd March could well be for a session well before that

That's true enough. It's not exactly reliable I suppose, but you can check Field Reports here: External Link/Members Only

You can arrange them by Date Created or by Meeting Date. Date created is the date the field report was made. Meeting date is the date the meet was booked in to take place on the system.

You can see there's a fair few meets that took place from 23rd March up until the 1st April after which the booking system was turned off. If anyone had meets during this time but didn't review them, if they decide to make a review it will show the date of the meet taking place during lockdown.

The police can enforce the law which says you musn't be outside your home without a reasonable (in law) excuse.

I was not suggesting seeing WGs is OK but in general I don't think enforcement is now much of an option given the relaxed rules and positive encouragement to get economic life moving again.

Yes pal - it is strange how all of the simple things we take for granted in this amazing life can weigh so heavily when they are taken away from us. I want to sit on my own in a pub and just watch people do normal things, talk to their friends, laugh and enjoy life without the dark cloud which drapes over us all right now.

I’m not much of a socialite but even I’m yearning for the kind of thing you mention.

I also think closing schools has been so harsh on the young folk. Almost cruel.

One day this pandemic will be in the past tense my friend.

We will be able to return to enjoying the things we took for granted.

We will look at this time with distance, and sadness, and relief. We will suffer from other things then no doubt.

And we will then try to piece out how the experience of self-isolation changed us. Did we take advantage of it? Were we even able to? Did we fall in love again with our partners or discover some past joy, long lost from our youth ?

Did we enjoy being with our families, or did we want to hide even from them? Did we actually disengage or did we engage harder? Did a break from society free us from a system that holds us captive, slaves to commerce and media? Or did time outside of the system paralyse us ?

For me, it has allowed me to reconnect with the things I loved as a teenager, like reading, listening to music and playing my guitar. I think that has been good for me in a weird kind of way.

Ahhhhh, there’s the MOTC musings and literary style that I and others have come to admire.  :hi:

This lockdown has been a great opportunity to reflect on my lifestyle. I shall be recalling it as the catalyst for some very significant changes.

Offline Simon_9000

Same as MOTC and MTB, lockdown has given plenty of reflection time. I've focused on self improvement, although if stopping punting could be classed as self improvement, that ain't happening.  ;) I've even made myself a spreadsheet to monitor how things are going!

When we come out on the other side of lockdown, the SPs don't know it yet but I have plans a plenty.   :hi:

I have used the time to improve my fitness and health - long way to go yet but already feeling significantly better.  As a result I am building a list of things that I want to do as we come out of lockdown.

I know it is easy to say and harder to actually do but I want to sustain my change in lifestyle and just enjoy life more.  Take pleasure in some of the simple things in life and also have more "experiences".

As I mentioned above I am not finding that more and more punts are on that list.  I will get back to it when it is safe to do so but I think it will be relatively less important to me.

Offline Newtothisstuff

The lockdown has given me plenty of time time to do a lot of different things. I started off doing all those odd jobs around the house that had been building up. Once they were done, I started to take up old hobbies again. Playing the piano. Learning to program and build robotics with the kids.
I'm not really missing punting. I thought I would. Instead of planning a few frenzied sessions with a long list of girls.... I've used the punting budget to buy a 3D printer to make PPE equipment for hospitals and parts for the robots we build. I'm replacing the old upright piano with a gorgeous baby grand piano that should arrive in two weeks time.
Will I punt again? I don't know. The piano cost the same as a small car so the budget certainly took a hit. But what hit home hardest was the risk we take when we punt. A lot of girls I would previously have though of as sensible and cautious have surprised me by working through the lockdown. I don't care what they say about needing to work. The rest of us are in the same boat. They're no different to anyone else. Friends of mine are now dead because of this virus. We couldn't visit them in hospital. They couldn't even have family and friends at their funerals.
Now, when I think of escorts still working I get angry, not horny. I wonder if they've passed the virus on? If someone has died as a result and they will never know? Do they even care?
Maybe I will punt again one day when this is all over. It'll be a cold day in hell before book any girl who's worked during lockdown and put lives at risk for money.

Isn’t it funny that many people, like you and I, have gone back to playing the instruments we enjoyed when we were younger. Maybe it is having the luxury of time. My dad used to say to me when I was a kid that ‘time’, the concept of time that is, is the most valuable commodity we have - this is when he wasn’t wasting it, fucking other women, behind my mums back. It took me years to figure out and experience what that really meant. Maybe now is the first time I’ve really, truly understood that meaning.

I haven’t had as much free time as you, although a lot more than normal. It’s great to be able to do lots of new things, but I do miss not having my family close to share it with.

Like you I am fortunate that I have the money to do what I want when I want, so financially it’s not really affecting me.

However unlike you I will not judge others, WGs etc. Who for social or economical reasons are having to work to get by. Yes it’s easy to say they should have saved, but it’s not always that easy for struggling single mothers or people who are not supported well by the benefit system.
I have no sympathy for the WGs who are worried they can’t go and buy the latest handbag, but these are not typical of your average WG..

I for one cannot cope much longer with how things are. My mental health is taking a massive hit being off work and being made to stay at home for endless weeks on end.Sometimes thoughts you never thought you would have.To survive this we need to adapt in our ways of life including punting. Exercise is helping me right now.
Ive thought about punting and i will go back again sometime sooner rather than later. Ive been incontact with a few girls non of which will meet until they are ready so feel confident they have been sensible through this.
End of the day its like punting its a personal choice your not forced into it, you go back into it when you want and feel its safe

Totally agree with that.

I've been semi retired for quite a few years and have been furloughed from my current part time job for 9 weeks now. The Mrs is working from home so just the two of us 24/7 more or less. We're both surprised that there haven't been more rows tbh, just the usual occasional sniping as you'd expect with any couple that have been together a long time. I'm definitely missing my "days out" though with the benefits that they bring.
As others have said, I can't really see how things will get better any time soon, until then there's always porn, but there are very limited opportunities for a quick wank.  It has certainly made me appreciate the freedom that I took for granted.

I watch and listen to the traffic (vehicles and voices) outside my window and it seems to me that the lockdown is over. With Cummings coming and going more or less as he pleases and the government saying it's ok to bend the guidelines according to your instinct. And with all these media reports of parties in the park and packed beaches over the last few bak holidays and weekends generally and no spike in the figures - I'm getting to the point where I'm ready to say, 'fuck it'. I certainly will no longer condemn anyone who has already said 'fuck it' and much sooner rather than later I'll be joining the 'fuck it' brigade.
