It suggests nothing of the sort, SB. Just your fertile mind at work. Sites like Ybirds, Netbirds, etc., are nothing more than the Gumtree or ex-pats' sites that we commonly use, when abroad. You can also buy and sell things, get travel info/book tours, find places to rent.
Many masseuses, shopworkers, cooks, waiters, get placements through the Chinese advertising sites, like that one, netbirds, etc. There's nothing in what you read to suggest otherwise. Yes, there's an offer of work in a shop - that's a perfectly normal way for Chinese people to find work. You really do need to find out, just how the Chinese massage scene really does operate, instead of your constant speculation.
Have you never lived or worked, in a country, where you've used an English language site to look for a job, rent a flat or just to buy things? I read a Greece-based one every week as it has an excellent Forum, but also carries ads for ex-pats and visitors. Jobs, goods and services - even therapies. I've worked in the Greek Islands, France and Amsterdam, in my time and got the work by word of mouth or through English language papers.
As for the accommodation ad.? I spend a lot of the year in Scotland. Glasgow is bursting at the seams, with Chinese students and there's huge demand for accommodation. There's, virtually, no Chinese massage scene, in Glasgow.
Yes, there'll be work that's 'under the radar' but what about all the Brits, who work in Spain, etc., but are also 'under the radar' ? Or the good, solid, British builder who you pay cash in hand to?
Anyway, I'm off out for the day but if you want to have a natter about any points we can catch up later.
