If someone is married, they WILL generally find it harder going on Seeking because -
You have zero basis for saying that. Your facts backing it up may be true but are irrelevant. Some MAY find it harder. I know that I never did. You may have experience of one or even a few cases but neither of us KNOW what the majority opinion is without some kind of survey.
My experience: Im married and it had either no or a slightly positive effect. I live/operate in London so it may be different in other parts of the country but, hey, this is a london thread.
While its true there are girls who say no married men and others (fewer in my experience) who dont state it on profiles but wont meet married men, the effect is negligible. For me seeking is a numbers game. I go through searches and choose who I’ll message. I dismiss most of those for many reasons. If she says no married men its just another reason to move on, just like “princess” or platonic. Has negligible impact on me. I still have more girls than I ever could meet.
Some girls I’ll only find out after I’ve started chatting. But its pretty quick as I have my married status on my profile and I state it pretty quickly in a chat too. In the hundreds (or maybe thousands?) of girls Ive chatted to I cant think of more than a handful that have bugged out at this stage. But even if they do it changes nothing. Most girls I chat to, I never see. For lots of reasons, some theirs, some mine. Being married is way down at the bottom of that list of reasons for me so much so as to be insignificant.
Note that all of that is because I CHOOSE to tell them Im married. If it was a problem I simply wouldnt tell them In fact when I started on seeking I never mentioned it and no-one asked. It went just fine.
Time to do it? Its the same as punting which I did for years before SA. No problem at all. I cant recall ever spending any time worrying about it tbh. Late home tonight babe. Thats it. Of course if I wanted an overnight or to go on holiday with an SB it would be harder but I have no interest in those things. Again no impact.
Money. Well if I had a bigger budget I would have more choice etc but my budget is my choice and has nothing to do with being married. I have plenty of fun within the choices I make.
So all of that has next to no impact on me. Maybe it tips the scales a fraction but its unnoticable. On the other hand there are plus points to being open about my married status. Girls respect it and dont call you out of nowhere or whine when you dont reply for a while. They accept your time is limited and are less on your case for a time to meet. Its also a great excuse if you want to end it with a long term SB. Sorry my wife and I are giving it another go.
So that is my experience. Others will have different experiences. Maybe Im an exception, maybe not. I know there are other married guys with similar experiences. Whether that is the most common or the least I have no clue, but neither do you or anyone else.
For me I experienced both sides - being married and not being married (in the sense described above) and I didnt find much difference. I chose to state openly on there that Im married because it makes my life easier. So in at least one case you are wrong.
