Another Soho walkabout - Monday 2 March:

Somewhat bewildered by Newport Court & I did not actually go up to the flat but Nicola was the name on the wall. She works there on Wednesdays and Sundays but not Mondays & it was about 6pm when I walked past. Could her name just not have been taken down on Monday morning by mistake? Could it be another girl trying to cash in on her name as she is popular? I just don’t know - or maybe it is a new Nicola, which would be somewhat confusing! Note also that Nicole was listed as working at Berwick as she normally does on Mondays.

Nicola's name was up when I went past last too, it was a day she's definitely not there, maybe Thursday. As you walk from Charing X road towards Chinatown, there was a sign on the right of the doorway almost outside saying Nicola, but if you walk the other way just inside the door was the real two names.

I approached from the other end & went inside into the hall area before the stairs which I normally do when I rota check. The name Nicola was definitely on the walls on the left hand side with the sign stating that she was on the first floor. I can’t recall seeing a sign for anyone on the second floor, but might have missed it as I was surprised to see Nicola’s name. I confirm that there was also a Nicola sign on the right of the doorway which I noticed as I left.

Punted with her a couple months back when she was at 2 Lisle Street.  The punt was mediocre at best and she had the typical "hurry up and come  attitude" to which I replied that I didn't intend to come even though I did at the 10 minute mark.

A page or two back another punter had a 69 with her at 8 Greek Street, reading between the lines I think the punt left him with a bad taste in his mouth...........apparently her hygiene game was not particularly on point.

I did see posts on Carla at Lisle Street but was hoping it might be a different Carla, as normally they prefer to have girls who don't work at other walkups (though I know this isn't always the case). There used to be another Carla years ago when there was a walkup on Frith Street (before that one was closed) and given that 8 Greek Street sometimes bring old timers out of retirement for that last bank job, I thought it might be her (though unlikely).

Walkabout in Soho yesterday (Wednesday 18 March), perhaps the last one for a little while as London predicted to go into almost total shutdown next week & may not be allowed to travel in - wanting to spend 10-30 minutes with a beautiful woman in Soho might not be regarded as a good enough reason by the powers that be!

Came across this video on New York City's (now extinct) Red Light District and thought you all might like. I think you'll see many parallels with the experience in Soho; "I would gravitate every night to Time's Square whenever I was lonely or sad and somehow all that voltage is a lift... I understand it needed to be gentrified, but why not just leave one block as a Red Light District... everybody needs a little decadence in their life to balance themselves out."  I hope the Soho RLD never goes. I’ve just taken a look at Soho Scarlett’s twitter account. She has updated her status as follows:

This is obviously due to the lockdown & I imagine will be the case for all of the walkups, though I don’t actually know.

Well, there’s not much more I can add other than to give my best wishes to Nicole, Scarlett, Roxy, Poppy, Nadia & all the other lovely women in Soho. Take care & hope you all return in the not too distant.

Why shouldn't business resume after the hysteria?  Landlords may have sold out but then other places will spring up, walk ups will move on to become flats or walk-ups above places on local parades.  If the economic fallout tanks a bunch of small shops then there will be plenty of premises to be taken up by whomever has cash.
There may be less kissing available but then it's not generally available at a walkup.

I never had a chance to see Roxy since her return.

I made my way last Friday as had the feeling that Soho will close down for business.
Got there and it was dead hardly anyone around, I was here so checked out Greek Street.

Luckily, Roxy was available and was glad to finally see her.
Surprised she remembered me and told me that lucky I visited as they would be closed from 6pm.

Anyway as always had a lovely session , she makes you feel special never rushes.

It’s pretty well impossible to observe social distancing in a walk-up, sort of defeats the point. I know Greek St, Berwick St & Newport Court are all closed & will remain closed during the lockdown. I’d be surprised if any of the others are open. If any walk-up has attempted to stay open, a knock on the door from the police will encourage them to close. You can have a walk around but I think you’ll be unlucky. The ladies will return - I hope!

Pretty much everything else is shut on those roads as non-essential businesses.  Best go in your best KT costume and claim you're out jogging your neighbourhood.  Put a little mince in your step should sell it, or banged up for soliciting.

I cant see the governments 80% of wages will quite apply to an industry existing in that space of tenuous legality.
