So if, as is said, all the walkups are closed for the duration, I wonder how the girls are going to cope financially?
I cant see the governments 80% of wages will quite apply to an industry existing in that space of tenuous legality.
Some of the girls, like Roxy, dont deserve a raw deal, but i do worry!

80% of cash income will be equal to 0.
All people who used to earn (full or part of) the wage in cash will get zero, because cash earnings are not declared and not taxed so Government doesn't know you make money.
Tough time for everyone, but tougher for people still paid in cash!!!

Yesterday, Friday 20th I was the very last visitor to 8 Greek street before they shutdown for at least six weeks !
I was there to see the lovely Roxy. She had already changed into ‘civvies’ of Jeans and a very sexy tight white top. Had the usual excellent service with what felt like a little added extra spice. Sad to think that this maybe the last time we ever see a soho walk up. I fear they will not return after this virus business is finally beaten.

Three years ago, the punters on this forum did a little poll of their three favourite soho walkup ladies, with the results compiled into an overall chart (based on 3 points for each 1st place, 2 for 2nd & 1 for 3rd). I thought it might be interesting to do this again, whilst lockdown is in progress. It might be helpful for future reference when the soho walkups open up again.

The overall top ten in May 2017 was as follows:

1. Roxy (25 points), 2=. Nadia & Poppy (11), 4=. Jenny (aka Selina) & Zara (9), 6. Elena (aka Elaine) (6) 7. Sasha (5.5), 8=. Ruby & Angie (4), 10=. Kate, Tatiana & Tina (3)

As you can see, Roxy won with a landslide. She took a longish break later, but returned about a year ago, I think. Will she win again? Could she lose the title to one of the new ladies that arrived after the poll - such as Nicole or Scarlett? Both get good reviews on this forum.

Anyway, it’s just a bit of fun. Take part if you want to, ignore if you don’t. I can compile the overall chart in a week or so.

This is a punter's website!  There will always be SPs and any SP can choose to leave whenever she likes regardless of her financial position, why would she choose to stay if she's been given a whole load of free money by the very mugs she most likely had zero concern or respect for beforehand?
Any "agreement" being relied on that "charity" would guarantee her return would be considered coercion, soliciting or sex slavery, so good luck with the cops on that one.

Thanks, JD, for the salute. Poll going well, looking like Roxy on the way to retaining her Queen of Soho title with the main challenge at the moment coming from Scarlett. I suspect you may be right, JD. The social distancing laws could sadly be the killer. The longer it goes on, the increased likelihood, I think, that the owners of the walkup flats may want to sell up & get out. Let’s keep our fingers and other things crossed, that all will be ok & that all or at least some of the walkups reopen. Thanks for the reminder. I remember Spanish Sandy well. Saw her whenever I was down that way and usually to try and see her.
