Maybe I was a bit silly but excellent comms and promise of incall or outcall!
The alarm bells should have rang when she asked for nominal deposit by bank transfer up front!
Anyway after even exchanging texts today once deposit paid she went off radar!
She is still on AW so a warning to other punters - don’t!

Sorry mate but I find it really hard to have any sympathy, there's 100's of warnings against paying deposits on here.

Did the fact she's £50 below the normal outcall rate for the region not raise any doubts, and make you think it may just be a scam.

All you can do is put it down to experience and either stick to well reviewed ones or ask for advice.

Yeah just stupidity, thinking with wrong part of body!
Deposit was £20 for £50 outcall or £40 for duo £100 etc - yeah stupid I know!
For the record , not after sympathy just to ensure nobody else makes my mistake!
I will add I did think I recognised her pic from a punt a few years ago, hence why I opted to pay this deposit

I also contacted her about a booking, she said she was doing incalls today and we agreed a time, she later text asking for £20 up front to pay her babysitter, she also give me her full address, needless to say I didn't pay it

When punters don’t pay the WG it’s theft and are open to prosecution. Surely the same applies here? Can understand if the OP wouldn’t want to but isn’t that why they do it because they know we won’t report it?

I highly doubt it's even the girl replying to texts. Rejects the call straightaway if you call that number. I've been texting her showing "interest". She asked for my address but when I asked to talk to sort out a time, she went silent. Has anyone spoken to her?

I thought it would have been obvious given the subject of this thread, obviously not.

I will re-phrase my post - I have never seen a warning on AW about an escort taking deposits and not fulfilling the booking.

I'll try and remember to add a little note next time just to clarify exactly what I mean, just for those who find it a bit difficult to follow the theme of  thread.

If people report the profile to AW for being a scammer, they’ll likely put a warning on the profile, like I indicated above. In the past I reported duplicate profiles and that’s exactly what happened. They aren’t specific about why, it’s just a general warning

I think you're giving AW too much credit, duplicate profiles are different to a deposit scammer. They can easily check if a profile is a duplicate, a scam is one persons word against another. Why should they believe the punter if she denies it, he can't prove it.

Glad I checked on here! I have been in contact with her all day via text. Same thing here, she wants £20 deposit for 'travel'. I thought nothing of it as she sent her bank details through. I actually thought she must be very trusting to give her name out, but a niggling suspicion  told me that she might not be the real deal, as I've only ever given a deposit once in 10 years. So I'm going to wait until our 'meet' time and see if she turns up or if she texts me beforehand to ask where the money is...I'll post an update!
If I got ripped off I'd report her to AW, the proof will be in the text messages, which will match the number she sent over on AW.

If the booking was raised through the AW booking system and the various messages are still there undeleted then AW will delete the profile if you complain

Update: She didn't turn up. Texted her and she asked if I'd sent the money. I lied and said 'yes but it takes up to a couple of hours to go through sometimes'. She replied "can't come now I'm ill"
I'd not be happy if I'd actually sent it!

You get scammers on seeking arrangements too. Bigger sums than AW. I lost £50 years ago but some have lost £100+. I do wonder what they're like away from their hustle. I mean if you're in a pub with your colleague, could you imagine she's ripping guys off.

As per other comments a complete no show. I have now however just had a random message from a different number apologizing (as i blocked original number on my phone) about the booking however this time it was a picture of a male with a beard in the image on wattsapp. As you all probably already know stay well clear of this one as it is a huge scam. First punt for me, equals very bad experience!!

WhatsApp - the revealer of scams.

It's amazing how it and other social media tools expose flaws in stories.

I know we talk of not having them on a phone but if it's a punting phone, I find them useful. Everything is fake. Just remember that they are not for actual profiles.
