It can be worse than that, some punters and redcab did this advised a WG to raise her prices BUT keep him on her old rate. Well she took his advice but she didn't keep him on her old rate so he said. Net result ALL her punters had to pay more due to redcabs selfishness, when challenged about it he said he would do the same thing again. According to him she was under-charging.

Unlike him I leave it for a WG to decide what to charge, I never advise them to charge more, and I can bet redcab doesn't ask the petrol stations he fills his cab up at to charge him more, or his energy company/companies.

I have heard you re-tell this story many times  even on the other site but now only getting to hear the full story for the first time

Huge thanks to you Blackjack, and you were the first to TOFTT which earns a lot of respect. Besides, the re-punt probably wouldn't be as exciting as the first punt, and by the time you want to re-punt her she'll probably have adjusted her rates back down. Obviously they're too high at the moment relative to better options.

So true. I know that it's a balance between pricing and getting calls, so ultimately it's up to the WG herself to try various pricing schemes until she finds the right balance between price and getting calls. I also think that Alice_Rock got an influx of calls due to being "new", which I expect that will slow down over time.
