MASPALOMAS BEACH: EUROPE’S NUDIST CAPITAL
Maspalomas beach is the world's busiest naked spot and the world's biggest nudist holiday destination. The nude area of the beach is at the east end where the biggest dunes meet the sea. Activity centres around the beach kiosks as many nudists prefer to rent sun loungers rather than sit on the sand. The gay nudist area is Kiosk 7 by the Kiosk 4 with the big rainbow flag.
Nudism on Maspalomas is far more social than your normal naked beach; people cluster in groups and chat. If you'd rather go bear with more space around you, then just steer clear of the kiosks and you will find more activities.
The nudist part of Maspalomas beach is right in the middle, in front of the big sand dunes. You can walk to it in about 15 minutes from either end and it is signposted. Not that you need signs to spot it!
The first thing that people should know is the summer season is off peak for swingers but that still doesn't mean you can’t find plenty of action and our motto is it “Only takes one other couple or single guy let alone a greedy girl to have a great time”. Speaking to the swingers’ club’s owners we were told peak season for swingers is September to January with lots of action in the Autumn months as Swingers from all over Europe take advantage of the fact it’s warm all year round.
The second most important thing to know is that the main swingers resort is Playa Del Ingles where a huge Gay community exists alongside a large Swinger scene making for a really fun and liberated environment; though you still get plenty of families and children around the place so choose your hotel wisely.
There are several places for you to get some good swingers fun and it seems you can get it pretty much any night of the week though weekends are busier due to the locals also coming down from the main city of Las Palmas for some swingers’ action.
We would like to share our experience about the infamous “Dunes” with you as there is a lot of negative posts about the hordes or horny sexual predators which we think is misleading. Playa Del Ingles Beach is pretty long and has Kiosks dotted along it every few hundred meters, the kiosks rent out sun loungers for a few Euro a day but you can also just lay on a towel for free and these kiosks tend to form groups of sunbathers. There are 3 nudist kiosks, the swingers one is Kiosk 4 a short walk from Faro Lighthouse, if you walk too far you will notice Kiosk 7 the gay nudist area next to the straight one. The beach area is supposedly just naturist only but later in the day when the non-swinger nudists go home things get a bit naughtier. The real action is the Dunes behind Kiosk 4; you can walk there easily from the beach and head into the bushy area. You will notice lots of singles guys wandering around either dressed or naked. If you enter here as a couple, you can expect to be noticed and followed from a distance by horny single guys hoping to see some action. This is what most people complain about as it does feel strange being followed by naked horny guys who are happy to start wanking at you.
If you’re a confident couple though then this shouldn't phase you as no matter how many guys there are, they will respect a polite but firm “no”. The secret here is to casually walk amongst the bushes then cut through some of thicker vegetation out of sight so that you lose most of them. Then find a spot that can’t be approached easily due to the thorny dense vegetation. There are a couple of great spots for this and it means guys can only view you from the other side of bushes and can’t actually get close without being very obvious.
Then once you have found your spot, put a towel down and just chill for 10 to 15 minutes enjoying the sun. The horny guys will think you are not playing and just go away, some will try and get your attention by wanking loudly but you just look at them, laugh and say no and they soon get the point. When you feel comfortable you can then have some outdoor fun sex in the sand dunes and it really is a great experience doing it in such beautiful surroundings with clear blue skies above. There will always be a couple of single guys nearby watching, they will most likely try to approach you to join in but just say no and they back off.
The beauty of being several guys in there is that the other guys will get pissed off if one guy is too pushy as he will spoil it for the rest of them so they will actually help you out. Another really useful tip is have your camera out to film your fun as soon as you point the camera at the guys they get all scared of ending up on the internet so they back off as they don’t want their wives finding out lol.
If you’re feeling adventurous and spot a guy or two you like you can invite them over one at a time to play with. They are very obedient and do what you say. The main point about the dunes is there are a few horny single guys by the beach area but they just want a bit of fun and will do whatever you tell them as long as you are confident.
We will say with regards to safety in the Sand Dunes the whole beach is patrolled by police regularly and they are there to stop crime not your swinging fun so we feel the whole place is really safe. We think the single guys there get a bad rep as they are just horny guys who want in on the fun so telling them clearly what you want works as the other single guys actually make sure no one acts out of line because it'll ruin it for them too if a couple gets annoyed and stops playing and walks off.
There are of course many other smaller nudist beaches as it is perfectly legal to be nude on any beach in Spain (really), you are fine going naked on any quiet bit of the coast if there's nobody else around. If there's a basic rule, then it is don't take your clothes off in the proximity of houses or restaurants and take a hint from those around you and you will be fine.

MEETING POINTS FOR SWINGERS
The Libertine Nightlife in Gran Canaria seems to evolve almost entirely in Playa del Ingles and more around Shopping Centres, this is probably due to their commercial licence use and or to gather together in spots where loud music is deemed acceptable till the early hours in the morning but also for discretion, as Canarians can freely take a taxi without having to be so specific in which club they are going to! lol
Most clubs are in fact all within walking distance of the main Gay bars, club and shopping Centre known as Yumbo Centre which is the most well know place in the area. This offers a lovely space to hang around for most people, with plenty of Cocktail Bars, Restaurants to choose from, surprisingly with very little competition if you see a group of girls, unless they are lesbian, if you are a straight guy, all what you have to say is that you are not Gay and they will be happy to meet you!
Taxis are all less than € 5 from any hotel to any swingers’ club; just don't fall for the old giving a € 20 note and the driver swearing blind it was only a € 5 note.
The majority of Swingers Clubs and Meeting Points for like-minded people are concentrated either inside or in the proximity of the Cita Shopping Centre, not quite sure why they have chosen this location, apart from the fact that ‘Cita’ in Spanish means “Appointment” the conditions of this centre are nothing like those as seen in the Yumbo Centrum but more like a ‘Dated Disneyland Dump’.
Nightlife in Gran Canaria starts very late so it is advisable to meet your friends in one of the many Swingers Bars and in particular we would recommend the followings:

A very interesting meeting point, there is a room always available for your pleasure, at times they host Gang Bangs gatherings when it becomes even more popular.
SWINGING in KLAMOTTE | CC Cita Centre, Basement | Playa del Ingles
An interesting Pub swinger friendly and welcoming is adjacent to where all the Swinger Clubs in the Basement at Cita are situated, can get very busy.
AACHENER KASCHEMME PUB | CC Cita Centre, Basement | Playa del Ingles
This Pub is not necessarily specialised for swingers, however is always very popular and as it is opposite Fun4All and Secrets it’s worth a mention as a meeting point.
BUDE4 BAR | Sandia Centre | Playa del Ingles
The Bude4 bar is right next to 2x2 Club in Sandia Centre and we highly recommend the cocktails and if you are with someone already ask to use the playroom. It's like a shrine to early 90's German porn movies all staring her but she is very nice and sexy and we are sure she used to be a big ex porn star in Germany.

Sky Bar Atelier is delightful bar at the 8th floor floor of this Hotel offering a spectacular view on the Dunes. The bar is open every day from 1:00pm to Midnight. Not far from 2x2 Club in Sandia Centre
SWINGERS CLUBS | NIGHT-LIFE
Surprisingly most renown Swinger Clubs are in the proximity of Cita Shopping Centre but not necessarily inside the shopping centre itself and we would refer to followings:
2×2 CLUB | La Sandía Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
It’s amazing what it has been achieved in such a small place, this club for the relatively small size has everything you need and works very well. A trendy and workable bar purposely designed and equipped to handle a large crowd of drinkers which is how most clubs make their money for the entrance is relatively cheap comparing with UK clubs. The etiquette is to make all patrons undress to their underwear by 23:00 hours which suits more a German and Dutch clientele, there is no reception, but everything is handled by a couple of girls who also work behind the bar (this is to show how safe clubs are in Spain). The socialising area works very well and there is also a discreet external smoking area, perhaps the play area is too small but the size of the club is limited. The selection of music could be improved for the loud disco music throughout the night coupled with Karaoke evenings, does not really help but to create that ‘sensual’ atmosphere you would expect to find in a Club of this kind. It is clearly notorious for Gang Bangs and therefore this club attracts a variety of Greedy Girls, perhaps more an older crowd seeking to be outnumbered by single guys.
ETERNITY | Shopping Centre Nilo | Playa del Ingles
Welcoming and horny Boudoir Reception on the ground floor with a huge staircase promoting ‘behind closed doors’ activities in the basement which encourages curiosity. The Bar area is situated in the centre, the socialising space is limited, but helps to make the club look full with fewer people. The four poster bed under the staircase is an interesting idea, by the side lockable cabinets with a key to be requested at the bar. Play areas situated on an L shape at the two perimeter sides of the bar with interesting and individual rooms settings insinuating a maze with intriguing hiding holes for players on a continuous loop with a large Jacuzzi and showers at the far end which works very well. Excellent choice of music, disco at the beginning turning into much smoother sensual background music after midnight, there is no doubt that who owns this club understands what swingers want. The clientèle is mainly Spanish, but very hard to integrate with, couples seem not to mingle with one another as much as the visitors do, but seem to go there for a night out by themselves as an alternative to going to a Hotel, hardly any swapping at all, in fact individual couples either play by themselves next to others or lock themselves in private rooms drawing the curtains as well. OK it is understandable that this is up to individual preferences but when all locals in the club behaved like that!!?? Hmmm... Patrons are allowed to smoke in the premises to the benefit of the smokers.
SECRETS | Cita Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
With a 900 sq mt area this is the biggest club in the island. Despite the simplicity of the Budget Deco it looks pleasant enough and seems to work. As you enter there is a large oval bar with plenty space around to socialise and a large stage for shows. Interestingly there is a section for couples only clockwise and a section unti-clockwise where single guys are allowed in the play areas. Although this may put some people off, (both couples and single guys) it’s a clever idea for combining a club for all to feel reasonably relaxed. This place has the feel of a top end Ibiza dance club but for swingers which works really well as an idea to go clubbing in cool sexy clubs like Pacha, MOS and Gatecrasher but in a Swingers version of these clubs. The club is always nice and clean, with free condoms at the bar. You can ask for a key to a locker with clean towels inside. Normally there are both tourists and Spanish (Canarian) guests in the club, and very often a naughty atmosphere.
FUN 4 ALL | Cita Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
FUN 4 ALL is literally next door to Secrets is an interesting trendy and small club, more of a disco for swingers with some rooms to play than a proper swingers club but a good meeting point. Its run by a Dutch couple who also owns the SEX CINEMA further down in the Basement at Cita. The Club offers an easily accessible and cosy spot. A nice mix of swingers who uses the place to socialise before going to other clubs, thought there are some rooms for playing. We are really surprised how sexy and cosy this place is.
VENUS | Cita Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
VENUS is a swinger resort but also a separate nice and modern club situated in the basement at the Cita Shopping Centre. It is nicely decorated with a lot of details. There is a big bar/dancing area, wellness area with a huge Jacuzzi and more playrooms. It’s much smaller than Secrets but we like that as it makes the place feels full and cosy. When we went there we started talking to several couples in less than 10 minutes and playing with a sexy older German couple in a private room in less than 30 minutes. This place had a really fun and lively atmosphere. The Deco is modern / trendy sexy yet compact. The setup is small but interesting with just a few play areas.
AFRODITA | Cita Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
APHRODITA in the basement in the Cita Shopping Centre advertised as a Swinger Club but really is a hookers place now. This was a club initially started by a partner at Come Back Bar (there is still it’s logo in the premises) but that apparently have fallen out now. The entrance is OK with a basic bar. A huge staircase leading to the play areas in the basement however despite the efforts and the finish of the club somehow it could not work as a swinger club hence the diversification they have now chosen to go for.
FULL SWAP | Cita Shopping Centre | Playa del Ingles
FULL SWAP just opposite Aphrodita advertises itself as a swinger club but is in fact a Brothel, the owner of this club is also the same owner of Secrets so he is trying to cover both businesses under one Shopping Centre.
TU y YO | Centro Commercial San Agustin | San Agustin
At the out-skirt of PDI in the resort of San Agustin mainly frequented by the locals who come south in the early hours in the morning from Las Palmas. Patrons are allowed to smoke in the premises to the benefit of the smokers.
