Yeah, but who wants “art” they chose when they were 18-20 to be still there, faded and old and changed by wrinkles and hair, when they are 50-60 and upwards?
I'll never understand the short-term thinking of people who do this. I was (and I am) a tolerant father but became a tyrant when my kids were proposing to get tattoos in their late teens. And it worked. All in their 30s now, and one has a tiny design where you don't notice it and the others have none.
Who gives a fuck how bad your tats look when you're an OAP, you're hardly going to be winning any beauty contests with your gross saggy bod anyway.
Make the most of it while you've got it, I say, and if for you that includes getting covered in ink then fair game. It doesn't bother me one way or the other whether a girl I see has tattoos. It is sometimes funny seeing how bad they are, but it still doesn't put me off boning her!
Having said all that, it's so rare these days to see a girl with no tattoos at all, that it's somewhat appealling for novelty value alone.
