I think your estimate of the number of punters they are likely to see is very optimistic. They may see that many when they are a novelty, but the numbers soon drop off. Several Olina girls I have seen in the past have complained of quiet periods when they have barely made enough in a week to cover their rent.
The drought in Thai talent would indicate that they aren't earning sufficient to make it attractive enough to come here. But then the rates charged by Olina and the like haven't risen in a decade or more. Compare that with how the rates on agencies like Diva have rocketed in the same period. No wonder so many are going indie.
The main thing keeping their rates down is the influx of Chinese competition. But the quality of the Chinese can be very variable and unpredictable.
And these days, it is difficult to earn a significant amount of money for any length of time without HMRI eventually cottoning on.
What matters is the exchange rate and the earnings available elsewhere. The latter draws off the fitter talent including the greedy and the honest grafters who manage their earnings well. Only the latter are the real loss to us.
The older, less fit girls can still earn a good crust here if they're disciplined and can maintain a standard of service; the girls now sadly charging 160ph as indies seem to be from that group so fair play they are also milking the opportunity.
Also a fair number of the prettier, younger girls seem to be avoiding the grinder and rent rip-off that is London and are content to tour the provinces at 130-150 ph, only dipping into the capital when business dries up.
Those that do come here as often as not don't have the skills or commitment to service like the ladies of yore so they bring their comparative youth and vanilla routine to fleece the thirsty.
