We really need the Wiki. With so many (inevitably) separate threads on the Forum, it's the best way to find info.
It's possible of course to search the forum for keywords. But I often find that, just before going away on a last minute trip, there's so much to do and that searching through and catching up on all the threads is time defeating.

I personally like these interactive maps. This one in question may be a bit old, but at least with the locations, details of type of locations etc, it's a great start. Places take on a more 'real' aspect once one gets there: seeing the state of a place, how easy it to get around, areas that instinctively feel attractive after some exploring, all the sights, smells (hehe), sounds and vibes help to focus attention and choose from the map which bits to follow up.

If you are looking for a  full day escort then use SA. They charge 200-250 euros.
