I always thought that you couldn't trust the nationality, daviemac, but there was a recent post on UKP which said that if the profile has been verified, then the nationality shown has been taken from the passport, so if this is the case then apparently she is genuinely italian. I stand to be corrected though.

I could quite well be wrong but she claims to be Brazilian in her blog. She says "We Brazilians" and talks about Brazil, could just be her use of English
