Greeting and salutations from your American cousin. Been researching this site and it's chocked full of information. I appreciate everything everyone has shared and has made my planning so much easier. Especially Steve2 and Jerboa who have definitely set the bar pretty high. In have a few questions that I haven't been able to find by researching and was hoping to have some help with.

I'll be in Berlin in a few weeks the 21st-29th and have been trying to find some recommendations for an affordable hotel that's best centered near all the action.

I was going to get the seven day pass but I'm not super familiar with using an underground but have been able from looking on here download the underground app which has helped bit. On checking the website it seems other than the weekend they stop at 1 am. How do you guys get around after? Are the buses easy to get around on? It also seemed like there is a tram like service that is available.

My itinerary as it stands is:
Thursday: insomnia
Friday: airport girls
Saturday:
Sunday:
Monday: King George
Tuesday: insomnia
Wednesday: Caligula

Any ideas to improve upon my schedule or advice would be greatly welcomed. Insomnia seems like the place to be and most my speed. Would you recommend the Saturday night or Sunday's night activities? Was thinking I'd give Artemis a try on the other nights and stroll around the Kurfurstenstrabe just for the hell of it since we don't have anything like that over here.

An oddball question but I'd like to be prepared. In checking different websites it seems to be you're walking around in sandals. Do the clubs provide them or are you expected to bring your own? Can you bring a backpack to keep your belongings in these places?

Thanks again for sharing all the information and looking forward to joining my European brethren!

Annie Porsche is good 68 euro 11am to 11pm all inclusive with food also

Offline Tresleches

Appreciate it. I've been looking at that and anni porsche definitely looks like it's worth a stop. With the reviews I've been seeing might swap out from King George. I'm more of a whiskey drinker. Is it true these places only have the beer included and Charge for the spirits?

Hey good luck with Berlin - beautiful city. I'll in Cologne around the same time soaking up Club Mondial and Samya.
I liked Artemis when I last visited in September.  Website provides majority of information plus there are several comprehensive reviews already on this site.  I went on my own and it would be great to have a wingman but at least on your own there are no loose ends. Admission is a little steep but you can always disappear and return later; again details on the website. Food was good, non alcoholic drinks are covered by admission fee.  If it's warm you can laze outside.
Girls are gorgeous as expected especially as the evening comes, again as expected.
In short, I definitely recommend for a visit at least. I had fun, I just prefer Cologne now as admission prices are cheaper and flights are more reasonable.  However, Berlin is a great city when you're not punting.  You'll have a great time

Offline Tresleches

Thank you Varn. I know I will. I've visited once as a backpacker in my younger years but this is my first trip specifically for punting so I'm looking forward to it. Still trying to figure out the bus schedules for the middle of the night but I've been able to map all my routes that use the subway.

There are night buses that Ive used, but you might be easier just taking a cab late at night.

Offline Tresleches

I was thinking that as well. Are the prices reasonable? I've been trying to have my late nights end towards the hotel and my longer distances be on the weekends when the underground runs 24 hours. Ocd and all that.

Offline Steve2

Night busses included in the day ticket. I think it is valid till 3am?

Anni Porsche can be hit and miss. Don't expect any stunners but most of the girls are enthusiastic and it is VFM.

Check out kurfurstenstrabe too. Red light that runs from the kurfurstenstrabe U-bahn to LSD sex shop. Then continues on from bulowstrabe. Street girl action if it is your thing. Personally I find it seedy and really hot. Always wear a condom (even for blowjobs) Banged a blonde girl in the porn cabin for 50 euros (about £40?) lasted about 5 minutes and i assume for her it was easy money  :sarcastic:. I had a girl once try and take my cock out in the middle of the street.

I stayed around the kurfurstendamm area. Business district. You're close to the street scene, couple stops away from artemis. the negatives of this is you're a bit out of the way of airport girls. do some research and weigh up your options. Jerboa and Steve2 know their stuff and they are great help!

Thanks for the updates. I used trivago like steve recommended and ended up on alt templehof for 350 for the whole trip. Coincidently is a couple of blocks from insomnia. Little longer having to use the underground everywhere else but not like I have anywhere to be. Definitely going to hit up the red light just for the hell of it. Thanks for letting me know about the buses might be my best option. I'm assuming cabs are expensive like they are over here and with the language barrier I don't want to get ripped off which I know happens with lot of cabbies with tourists.

Cabs in Germany are not rip offs, they are correct and efficient, they always use the meter, never had a problem.

Offline Tresleches

Great information to know. I travel south a lot and it's always a negotiation instead of a meter. If it's one of the later nights may just go for it for expediency.

Hey Tresleches - Welcome to a board this side of the pond!

I am a member of a board on your side of the water - focused on finding fun in the Caribbean mainly and am very welcome there - so "hi".

Have you thought about renting a car in Berlin?

I did a trip to Cologne/Dusseldorf/Frankfurt in January and had a GM Astra for a week - £10 a day.
I found driving easy in Germany and at that price - its a much better option for freedom! AND at least the Germans drive on your side of the road!

Sorry I cant help with Berlin - will try there later this year - I hope you have fun!

Offline Tresleches

Thank you Peter for the welcome. I did briefly consider it but considering id most likely be drinking didn't want to risk an unsafe situation. Better safe than sorry. The underground seems like it's going to be a lot of fun once I get the hang of it.

Offline Steve2

If you have an Iphone download the "Berlin subway" app. Free and works offline too

Offline Tresleches

Thanks Steve. I'd already downloaded it when I had seen you give someone else the same advice. I've been able to map all the routes and it even saves them in the favorites section which is really cool.

Offline RimJobBob

All I'd like to add is hat visiting Artemis was among the best few hours of my life. What an amazing place.

Offline Tresleches

Thank you Lager. It's on the list. I'd feel the whole trip would be wasted if I didn't indulge in berlins greatest delicacy. Might be able to help me out in this one. What's the actual underground station stop for them? I checked the website but it seems to conflict with the underground app.

Its a short walk from Westkreuz S-Bahn station

Offline Tresleches

Oh, ok. I think I've been managing the App wrong. So when it says the U you get off and the S is the bus correct?

Offline Steve2

U-Bahn is the underground and S-Bahn is the overground train. Often both stations are interconnected

TreslechesWelcome to UKP
Berlin is like London apart from the fact that London Public transport is much expensive compared to Berlin. The public transport is excellent. You could reach almost all comers of Belin around the clock  by Pubic transport, and one day Travel card for Zone ABC only cost EUR 7.60 and valid until 03.00 the following day. Literally you could reach any corner within walking distance using public transport even early in the morning. I never use the taxi and I have been travelling even 04.00 to catch the early morning flight and it is safe.

This is my tools to use the public transport and Walking Navigation around Berlin.

Online Official Public Transport.

Additional Public Transport Planner Apps: City Mapper, Berlin subway

PDF file to download. I found this map is very usefull
External Link/Members Only

And save it in you mobile Phone

Do not forget Google Map also with public transport. Plan it when you have the Wifi connection and then mark and save the place.

Also I found the Window Maps (GPS)  is very reliable even without internet connection.

Just a piece of advie. Prepare a ten euro banknotes or coin to buy the pubic transport in the ticket machine in the airport. You will notbe able to use your Master/Visa card to buy ticket from the ticket. I found this is very strang for such and international and the great city like Berlin.

Enjoy Berlin

I lived in Berlin for over a year and it is the best European city for punting imo.

I would recommend that you go to both Royal and Kamilla Dee in Charlottenburg/Wilmersdorf

External Link/Members Only

They both have an incredible selection of women and great ambience.

Otherwise External Link/Members Only is ok for escorts, can be a bit hit and miss though.

They are brothels. You go in and the Madame takes you to a room into which all the available women come and individually introduce themselves. Then you choose one of them and then you're taken to an available bedroom and you agree how long you want to stay for etc.

Usually OWO and FK are 20€ extra each (expensive I know but punting is more expensive in Deutschland, but the service is better imo).

Or you can book a girl on the telephone (you will probably have to speak German for this. They might speak English too but I have no idea tbh, whenever I called i just spoke German.

I've seen a few different girls from each and never had a bad experience.

Kurfürstenstraße is a bit hit a miss. Highly enjoyable to stroll around (some good restaurants quite close by too) but you really have no idea what the service will be like. Girls are all Romanian with a few Poles or Turks.

I saw 3 different girls there, 1 was fantastic, 1 was average and 1 was atrocious.

The street scene is obviously legal but German women tend to work from Oranienburger Straße which is in Mitte near Alexanderplatz, again highly enjoyable to walk around but I would advise against seeing any of the WGs here. If you do, expect to pay €300 for 5 minutes of OW.

So similar to aston and setlar  at 30 euros for 20 min for a choice of girls ?

I hadn't heard of them until you brought them up but just looked at the website and yes, seems to be the same thing. Although the ones you mentioned are a lot cheaper.

K.G. has the least  good comments of all on this board of every where in berlin
So pls let us know how it goes for you ta.

Offline Tresleches

After all the reviews I've decided to swap KG for Anni Porsche. May still try Caligula but may just do an extra day at airport girls if I like it.

Offline Zalaroon

I thought KG was far, far more fun than Airport Bored Romanians.

Offline Tresleches

When was the last time you were there? I know it's subject to change bit on their websites Caligula looked like they had better looking women than KG.

I would not bother with the flat rate places.  You'll be expected to buy very expensive drinks, and the girls are rarely that into it.

Of the brothels, I think Royal is the best of the 'high class' ones.  You can find seedier ones, but I wouldn't bother.

Artemis is well worth a visit, if you're prepared to stay for several hours, and make the most of it, but I think you need to be prepared to see three women to get your best value from it.

I would not bother with the street scene - it's very hit and miss.

Finally, I would absolutely recommend Erlebniswohnung.  Gangbang/sex party every night.  Great value, and 4-6 women on at a time, with probably double that of men.  Great vibe, decent food, sauna, showers.  I've spent many happy evenings here.  Very highly recommended: External Link/Members Only
