The end bubble had split, small hole in the end. Probably on too tight, with hindsight.. I noticed early doors, about two minutes in, felt something not right.

WG is a regular, she was calm, made me a cuppa, lots of reassurances, healthy, no drugs etc.  I asked her directly re bareback, no she doesn't, no partner, gets checked regularly. She's going to get checked asap.

I've booked GUM clinic, chat with nurse, explained the circumstances. Very reassuring, she thinks risks very low.

Checked this forum, read the various threads on the subject, also very reassuring.  Always grateful for the Brotherhood on this forum, but never more than now.

Had it happen once when in Thailand. Sure enough all clear and didnt let it panic me. Chances are tiny that youd catch something.

It's an unhelpful assumption I make that the few regular WGs I see are harbouring bugs ( and always something un-curable ) If I really believed that, I wouldn't see them in the first place.   It's just the usual panic mode that i'm getting tired of now, it's very wearing..

Hey Sumo, try not to worry too much. It happened to me a few years back, wasn't with a regular but a well reviewed lady, good reputation.

Same as you, I panicked, the girl did the same with me. Calmed me down, said she was clean, didn't bareback, no drugs etc. I got tested, all clean. The clinic told me that I stood more chance of having caught something from a civie one night stand unprotected than with an English independent SP who is careful. Bit of a generalisation, but I hope you get my point.....being it wasn't a heroin addled street whore turning tricks to get her next fixed that you fucked in a dumpster somewhere on an industrial estate.

Assuming you didn't know about the split until after you had cum in the lady, I believe the risk is bigger for her than you, what with her being the receiver. Put it another way, I'm sure you assured her you were clean.

So, try and stay calm, do the right thing and get tested, and keep Little Sumo zipped up until you know for sure. Chances are you will be fine. Chin up buddy.....

The most sensible thing you did was talk to a nurse.

So many idiots post such shit on line about probabilities that only freak people out - never listen to them.

Health workers know and deal with these matters. And only their knowledge is credible.

Just had a text from WG, she's booked a GUM appt too, again, a similar timescale to wait. She's very calm about it, although she needs to be sure about me and vice-versa, hence both getting tested. We are both clear now, to the best of our knowledge, so shouldn't be any surprises, fingers crossed..

I did tell her i'd had the snip, so one less worry...

You did exactly the right thing going to the clinic quickly, I would have thought you will be absolutely fine, possibly more a problem for her than you.

You'll be fine. Statistically you are more likely to get killed travelling to and from a punt than to get HIV from a single exposure with a female partner of unknown serostatus.

This is one reason I don't think I'll bang a ts. Combination of  very high HIV incidence plus higher per act transmission rates would make for a very scary time if this happened although there is always PEP I suppose.

I've only had a condom split once in my entire life.  I felt something wrong, pulled out and saw it had split about halfway down.  I just removed it, put on a fresh one and carried on shagging.  There didn't seem much point in stopping at that point since in the unlikely event I had caught something at that moment then it was too late anyway, so I might as well shoot my load (into fresh condom) anyway.

Yep happened to me just before last Christmas,i think it was the wg's long nails as she put it on.She apologized and reassured me she was clean and recently tested.

+1  Some UKP'ers seem to forget that they've actually got to have contact with the OH.  To pass on something, which in all probability they haven't got in the 1st place.  Some decent & readily available anti-biotics will clear out most of the system if you want to be doubly sure.  I think of this like the annual car service.  MOT due.  Ah - time of the year to pop those pills.  Makes fuck all difference apart from making you feel better mentally
