I'm thinking their entire research is a load of shite. A quick check of AW shows almost 700 girls within a 75 mile radius of my postcode which includes from the east coast to Carlisle and as far south as North Yorkshire. They claim less than 1500 girls working. When you take that 700 and add all the girls who aren't on AW plus all the agency girls there are probably a lot more than 1500. They also consider drugs ,alcohol and cigarettes as "basic essentials". Let's be ultra polite, the whole article is bullshit.

It's the job of the press to simplify then exaggerate.

But research should be based on facts not bullshit and scare stories. I've never met an escort from that sort of background - but I've met an office worker who was from a broken home and abused as a kid, therefore everyone who works in an office must have been abused and beaten as kids!

Make no mistake it's all part of the softening up agenda to criminalise punters as 'abusers'.
