A recent Thornaby misadventure with GGs revolving around the following exchange of texts (retyped word for word except, for obvious reasons, actual addresses given):
Me: Hi, would it be possible to see Jennie tomorrow for half an hour some time after 5? many thanks"
GG: "5pm thats booked in for you will send over address tomorrow"
Me: "Many thanks. Sorry to be a pest but could you pass the address on today as I will be away from a computer tomorrow? thank you once again"
GG: "ORIGINAL ADDRESS x"
The following day:
Me: "Hi I'm about to meet Jennie at 5 o'clock if you could please pass on the actual number."
GG: "NEW ADDRESS x"
Me: "I'm due to meet Jennie at ORIGINAL ADDRESS. Is she not there now?"
GG: "shes at NEW ADDRESS x"
Me: "You told me yesterday ORIGINAL ADDRESS. I asked for the address as I would be unable to access directions online today. I am where you said she would be and have no way of finding the new address."
GG: "u never made appointment u asked for address hun x"
Me: "I did. Hence you replying that this was now booked for 5 with Jennie. And in any case it's still the wrong address."
GG: "we ask everyone to confirm on the morning which u didnt do so regardless your appointment would of been over ridden"
Me: "I wasn't asked to and haven't been asked to before, but we may as well leave it there"
Is this really NNE rebranded? I could hardly imagine this scenario in the past with them. Anyway, I don't have a huge sense of entitlement and wouldn't even have requested some form of recompense, but I do find the bizarre excuses and the attempts to throw this back on me a bit much.
