Why pick a bar girl rather than a freelancer in bangkok?

going for the 1st time soon and I'm curious as to why you would choose a bar girl where obviously you will have to pay a bar fine whereas with a freelancer you don't?

There is one good reason which may or may not bother you, but if a freelancer nicks your wallet and buggers off you have no come back. However if a bargirl does this you have more protection, as you can always go back to the bar. Of course staying in a hotel which takes the girls ID while she is in your room also protects you.

as soon as you get to your room would you not lock every valuable up in the safety box though to prevent that from happening?

Never had a problem with freelancers I have picked up at Beer Garden on soi7 but I stay in hotel which keeps and copies there ID and checks with you that everything is ok before they get it back.
Had some good times with girls from there

well you're sorted then, but there are other problems you could have that you might feel the urge to complain to her bar about, but to be honest i've usually had more problems with gogo girls than bar girls or freelancers.

I have been with dozens of freelancers, never had a problem ------------ obviously you lock everything away as soon as you get back to the room.

With a bar girl you can go back and complain if you are not happy with the service but the Mamasan is more likely to take the side of the girl.

I find best quality of girl in bars all shapes and sizes, especially those in Patong (u forget names) and of course Barracca. Also i love the live music bars near the soapies lips something.. Which have girls for company, non pushy and a real music venue
