I think in most places they film / have a camera/ a secret mirrored window etc to ensure the safety of the hookers, ie so they don't get raped/assaulted by some loon.

That really sucks if they do. I hate the idea of being watched.

On the Cleopatras website in Ipswich they say they do on their own website, at least they are honest about it. I bet others do this and don't tell you they do it.

Interesting topic though... Sandys has a wall of shame for people who've tried and got caught using filming devices... And yes, you guessed it, it's a wall of shame of pictures. Ironic!! I'm sure it's purely for security but you never know in some of the more dodgy places.

Could be illegal? But business's have to comply with the Data Protection Act. That's why cctv warning pics are found on buses, trains, in shopping malls, office blocks, housing estates and so the list goes on.....
