Author Topic: Acknowledging e mails/texts  (Read 672 times)

I am finding more and more examples of WG's on AW are not replying to e mails or texts. Polite and respectful queries are being ignored or in some cases, not even read according  to their log in dates., It is not as if I have bad feed back on AW. It just makes you wonder what some of their motives are. Surely it is not difficult for them to respond, even if they are not working. Otherwise what is the point of appearing on the site. After all business is business and that ignored e mail or text could be costly both financially and negative feedback.

Ha, a long and established issue with the average WG.
They seem to live in a different world to the rest of us and to your point, from a business perspective you'd have thought it sensible to at least reply to messages!

Having said that, if the comms are good you can generally assume the WG will be where you've agreed and at the time you've agreed - though there will always be the odd exception :)

Agree, if she cant communicate properly she's probably a waste of time, you'll get used to it. Although good communication doesn't guarantee a good service.

I suspect many of the girls on AW are not there to make serious money. Just a few hundred quid extra every week or whenever they decide they want a new handbag may be enough to keep them happy.

I also suspect that many of them are flooded with emails (our resident WGs can perhaps confirm or disconfirm this) so it will be pretty easy for them to earn enough. There's relatively little negative feedback on AW as punters are afraid of the consequences for their own feedback, and lots of bookings are not made via AW or are never confirmed.

This forum is of course different in that it provides a place for the exchange of totally frank and uncensored views, but I bet that the majority of punters aren't familiar with it, so again negative reviews won't necessarily lead to a dusty mobile.

Very much depends on the type of WG, EE very rarely respond, phone is best.  British I have more success is putting a decent title like "2 Hour Outcall My Place Friday"

Usually call out of habit now, messaging seems a failing art with most.

Sent clear, succinct and polite email last week to meet a WG tomorrow. It was read minutes later but no response at all.... Would have been happy with any of the following:

No, not available
No, busy
No, I'm only seeing regulars at the mo'
No thx.

Just ignoring me means I've lost all interest in seeing her ever. Email is only way to contact her so her ignoring them is just slack and unprofessional. I've learned to just move on and not dwell on it..... Find another one instead.

People of a certain age will tell you that when they were growing up, most civies replied to any message, even if it was with a polite 'no'.

Now, not replying often means 'no'.

Or it could mean 'busy', 'too busy', 'disorganised', or a 'maybe' if and when they reply.

Once a meeting has happened, I often get a reply.

I guess they get a lot of time wasters. Not nice to be left hanging though. That said, it's just the way it is with some SP's.
